I will be going to vegas next year as part of a 11 day america trip!
I've never been before, although i'll be saving a bit of cash to go, i'd still like to try save as much money as i can
I want to do the attractions at the top of the tower and also a zip line, What are the best sites to get deals on them?0 -
Have a good trip Hovis, the weather is lovely today. It was a bit breezy earlier, but the wind has died down now.
We didn't bother with the extra movies on our flight, neither of us had seen any of the ones in the free selection.0 -
We went with Thomas Cook last month, didn't pay any extra for my usual window seat, thought we would just take a chance this time.
We got to the airport about 15 minutes earlier than we normally would i.e.
3 hours 15 mins..managed to get the two seats including window.
Done same coming back, and got the window and isle seats again.Saved us £100 by going a little earlier than normal.0 -
Had a fabulous meal at the Hippodrome Casino in London last night thanks to myVegas. I had a matinee show of Glengarry Glen Ross booked in the West End so purchased the VIP Dining package plus extra super odd chips. Very easy to redeem and even came away with some money. Would def. redeem again.Thank you all who post.0

Good to hear, I am looking at trying to get those rewards for January. Is it a set menu or can you choose (assuming this would be limited)?0 -

we have also done it
we both had fillet steak and got some super odds chips and slot credit.
from memory my wife won about £75 with the slots credit, which paid for the meal as we only bought the £25 food and drink credit from myvegas
was well worth it0 -
I’m not sure if this has been covered already but do the slot machines accept credit or debit cards or do most people carry cash? Over the last couple of years I tend to use my Lloyds Amex or Halifax clarity cc both which don’t charge fx fees when using abroad.
However being that this would be classed as a gambling transaction, I imagine fees would apply.0 -
Cash only in slot machines as far as I know.0

Not Vegas related but a good story.
We just came back from a week in Philadelphia. Flew AA MAN-PHL
On the return we were sitting on the plane. They needed 4 volunteers to deplane, offering $1600 each in vouchers. We jumped out of our seats so quick he hardly had time to finish his plea.
By the time we got to the desk it had reached $2.5K EACH!!
Hotel, meals and flight home the next night........
Except the next night the flight was oversold again so we took the deal again, so we have nearly $10,000 worth of AA vouchers to spend.
They asked again last night but we were tired of living in the same clothes and I needed to really get back to work. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

$10,000 worth of flights?! Or does it cover flights and hotels?
Either way, you basically blagged yourself enough to cover multiple business class or a couple of first class tickets!
