Well done all
Well, breakfast didn't happen at all *sigh* also I'd poured myself a big glass of water and didnt have time to have more than two mouthfulsthe " lunch " at the meeting was just sandwiches, not bad but not very inspiring and no fruit or salad on the side, had 2 quarters of cheese and coleslaw and a couple of biscuits. Felt fed up and tired and midmenstrual after and had the unholy trinity of crisps, pepsi max and chocolate. ( To balance that out I did do a fair bit of walking today though ) Now feeling wiped out plus TOTM bloating/nausea/pain etc etc so am having the baked beans and part micro'd part oven'd ( yes, I was cynical about it at first but it really does work !) jacket potato. Probably a banana and some blueberries for after.
My problem now is motivating myself enough to even briefly prepare something for work lunch tomorrow. I have got some salad items that will need using up soon but as am feeling so rough not sure whether I can face doing it... so it might well be more baked beans and toast, plus fruit to eat ad lib during the day. I bought a lovely rye loaf at a local bakers and funnily enough had thought of slicing it up and putting it in the freezer as MrsM suggests above
Potatoes really aren't the devil incarnateyou just have to be moderate in your consumption and keep an eye on not lavishing daft amounts of oil/butter on them in the cooking/consumption.

OMG I don't know what to say other than get back to the doc - what are they going to do about it?Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0 -
Have just got to the computer after spending most of the evening chauffering DD1 to an 18th birthday party, and then calling in to see a friend and taking her some mince pies which I didn't want to have lying around tempting me...
Mouseymousey99 - Brilliant weight loss!!! Well done!
Kittyscarlett - I get TOTM cravings and bloating too - I find that it is better when I have had a couple of weeks of healthy eating but I still get it and it is a real battle to try and keep away from hi-carb junk food.
Meanmarie - glad you had a better day
Mrs Macawber - you sound like a great cook! I don't think I could just have a small bit of pie though - you must have better willpower than me - mind you that wouldn't be hard cos I've got none:rotfl:
Sillyvixen - I don't know what an open Choley is but it sounds like you need to go back to the hospital - hope you get it sorted out soon.
Frogga - what day do you weigh in?
Hello to everyone else - I find I can never remember all the people I wanted to mention once I start typing, but I really do find all of your posts really encouraging - it is good to know that there are others in a similar weight situation to me.
I bought some Apple chips in Sainsburys before (they're suitable for vegans too Frogga) and they are lovely. Only 50 calories and no fat per bag so its just the same as having a normal apple really, but it feels like much more of a treat. I also got some Weight Watchers dessert style yoghurts on bogof in Morrisons the other day - I had never had them before and must say that they are surprisingly nice - though Ben and Jerry's they aren't;)
Did the front garden this afternoon so that is a bit of exercise.Jane

I don't know what an Open Chorley means either but if you're worried and upset then I'm sorry xx Like the others said go back to the GP and let us know what he said. I wont Google it or I'll convince myself that I've got it too.
RS ~ I'll keep a look out for the apple crisps , they sound yummy xx I am weighing on Monday as that's 1 st Oct. I MUST have lost something as I've been good for a whole month! From past experience I always binge on weigh day. I feel really possitive at the moment , but I know when I get on the scales, even if I have lost, the reality is that I am still morbidly obese. From memory even at 11 st I was upset because my ideal weight is 9 1/2 st and I thought "oh flip , I'm STILL a stone and a half over!) What I'd give to be that now!!:rotfl:
I know , I know , you'll all tell me to stop being so hard on myself ~ something to do with "a troubled childhood" so I've been told by many shrinks! Father went off with another Frog from the pond and left my Mother to bring up 346 tadpoles on her own !!:rotfl: (Actually that's not so far from the truth:rotfl: :rotfl: )
Any way enough of my rambling! Hope you are all OK today , fingers crossed for a binge free weekend. I normally REALLY struggle just before weigh day. Sort of sabotage my efforts ~ OMG I am such a nutcase, hadn't realise just how bad I am until I started writing it down!)Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D
