Hi everyone, just spent a happy half hour catching up on everyone's posts. Hope you are all feeling a bit more cheerful now:eek:
I've had a fairly good couple of days food wise and feel I'm getting a bit more into the swing of it. Watched the Hugh Fearnly DooDah programme last night and felt really awful about the amount of processed chicken we eat. It is just sooo hard trying to balance finance and ethics at times. I 'knew' really what those poor chooks went through before they turned up at Mr T's but to see it in my living room really hit home.
Anyway, breakfast - was a bowl of choco krispies (satisfies the kid in me!)
Lunch - had 2 prawn and salad wraps and a huuuge apple
Tea - is going to be roast chicken, purple sprouting broccoli and new potatoes.mmmmmmm
Planning to spend the evening cross-stitching and keeping my head out of the fridge (wish me luck!:D )0 -

Blimey, I wouldn't mind a bit of worzel in me!
Ho Hum, I only came back on to answer Mrs M's question. I am making a picture for my daughter. It is the picture of a baby being held in the palm of a hand and it's all done in sepia tones. I think it is a Maria Diaz design but I'm sewing it on 28ct instead of 14 and it's totally doing my eyes in!! I have a huge stack of UFO's and one of my promises to myself is not to buy anymore until I have tackled them. Unfortunately I have just been invited to a huge craft fair at Westpoint Exeter this weekend and I can feel my resolve wavering wavering wavered gone0
