ok day food-wise but carp mood-wise.
    B: cornflakes
Snack of big fat scone in town with butter and jam the works :( and cuppa
    L: fish veg and rice
Snack of biscuit my friend offered me (why can I not say no) and cuppa
    D: scrambled egg on toast
    Snack: 1 pink'n;white biccy and a cuppa

The combination of no sleep (3 month old up half the night crying), horrid weather getting me soaked on the way to school, nearly being late for DS first day back, boots not fitting properly. big cut on heel, not having any clothes that fit, DS being a total monster after school, big discussion about when to go to back to work and where to put baby nursery vs childminder, and so on and soon just put me in such a bad mood all day.

Then I read frogga's message from yesterday and that has put it all into perspective for me. Goin to be thankful tomorrow that I am still here for my children whether I have to work or not, whether it rains or not and whether my feet are sore or not and my clothes fit or not.

Here's to a better day tomorrow

Morning everyone! Happy Birthday to your tadpole, Frogga! and Congratulations on your son's engagement, Rose Wood!

I stuck to my plan yesterday, but didn't have time for my orange at work (takes me ages to peel!) and did have a fruity digestive last night for desert.

    Today:

Breakfast: pineapple and raspberries with a little yoghurt
Snack: HM Flapjack (even smaller piece than yesterday)
Lunch: small leftover HM spinach &ricotta lasagne and some frozen veggies, orange, diet coke
Dinner: HM Chicken Tandoori curry, rice, 1 tiny naan and a microwaved puppadom!!

There's more pineapple in the fridge if i need a snack later on. Have a lovely day you all! x

    Morning ladies :hello:
Feel cr*p today with this cold, fortuneatly boss is at a meeting so I can sit quiet and feel sorry for myself_pale_
Stuck almost to plan yesterday, had my 2 biscuits during the evening then had a slice of bread and butter before bed - OH baked bread last night, he's trying to get round me
Today I've had toast and jam for brekkie, just had a banana. Lunch is a hotchpotch, I've got half a tub of hummus here with some veggie dippers but I've also got a small bread roll and a cup of soup so will see what I fancy.
Tea should be quorn fillets marinated in a bit of yoghurt and curry paste with pilau rice but I've got a bag of spinach that could do with eating up so might have to think of something to do with that.
No extra exercise other than my walking today but I am thinking about starting jogging again  I've just been talking to a friend who is doing the Manchester run and asked me did I want to do it with them, mind you the thought of my wobbly bottom jiggling up and down........:rotfl:  :rotfl:

Have a good day ladies :A and Happy Birthday tho the tadpole Frogga!

    Morning all.

Grumpy day again. Big delivery came first thing and the only bloke due in the office today turned up 20 minutes late so guess who had to take it all from the back of the lorry into the stores???? Next time I'm turning up late 4 blokes in the office and they order a big delivery for the day there's gonna be 1 of them in. Not happy

Other than that - porridge and raisins for breakfast (need to stew some more dodgy looking fruit).

Snacks already have been a packet of snack a jacks, pack of jelly tots, banana, clemantine and a "light" apple slice.

Lunch is soup (tin :o) and a rye bread sandwich.

    Tea is HM chilli.

At least I can say I went for an hour lunch time walk Mon and Tue. Tomorrow have stuff to take to charity shop (too lazy to ebay) so will have another hour walk. Probably find an excuse for Friday too - quite enjoying getting out at lunch time - used to do it all the time before I brought my car to work every day

    Afternoon all,

I have decided that my biggest problem is that since I retired I have turned 'day into night'...instead of going to bed at 10pm most nights I am often on here until after 1am and then go to bed and read for a couple of hours...has on some occasions been after 4am when I have turned off the light...therefore can't get up in the morning and the cycle goes on. Tonight I am going to bed at 11pm and will read for no longer than an hour and will set the alarm for 8am...have to take it easy at first.

    Happy birthday Tadpole 1:bdaycake:

    Congratulations Rose Wood

Viksb...read a little on that site, looks wonderfully easy, vaguely remember hearing something years ago about needing more calories to keep warm in cold weather....my only problem would be that my aged body hates being cold! I'm sure that it would not be harmful, I suppose if you just decrease a level of heat IYKWIM you wouldn't feel very deprived and it just may help.

JillD....are you not being a little hard on yourself while you are breastfeeding??

Yesterday I was bold and had a piece of Christmas pudding after dinner, was hungry before I went to bed so had a bacon sandwich...no spread of any kind.

To-day I have just eaten my breakfast/lunch...2 egg omelette with additions (made by OH) 2 slices of brown toast with butter and a cup of coffee. Will have some melon I think, in a while and then wait for dinner which is stir-fry beef with rice or noodles at around 5 pm....wish that OH would eat later but he says that if he eats later he feels sick....Im only using that as an excuse to eat at night I think!

    Have a good day all
