    I am 26.
As a child I was very fussy, extremely skinny as it was a struggle to get me to eat most meals. Thanks to being fussy once I went through puberty the types of food I WOULD eat really made a difference. Especially by the time I went to college and lunch every day was quiche, chips and bean as I was scared of any of the broths or curries!!! Also alcohol was a big part of my diet! I could happily go out and drink bottls of brown ale and keep up drink for drink with the lads!! And I drank pretty much every night.

Since then I have never been happy with my body. I have constantly yo yo dieted where I will be very strict for some time do well with weight loss and toning up my body, then I will get fed up and binge and ruin everything! :(

As I said I am now 26, hoping to get married next year and would like to sort myself out once and for all so I can look my very best for my big day.
I am 5ft 5 and 10stone. (After losing 2lb!!! Good start giving how much I drank this weekend! Dear me! Need to sort myself out!)

I want to get down to 9stone.
However I am suffering from depression at the moment and find it hard to keep motivated at anything. Find it hard to feed myself properly. Find it almost impossible to be active. And various medications don't help :(

I am hoping that this thread will give me the support I need.

    Morning everyone,
Thanks to everyone who's posted on here, I've spent the last 15 minutes catching up on yesterdays - lots of interesting stories and lovely people!

Today is going to be a bit of a mixed one. This morning (once I tear myself away from MSE :D ) I am walking to town with 'Ethel' (my shopping trolley!) and I have nearly 50 packages to post thanks to a great weekend ebaying my cluttter  . I fully expect to be the most hated person in the PO today.....especially if they are standing behind me LOL

I hope to be able to sit down and do some cross stitching this afternoon. I am making a baby picture for my new grandchild to be, and then I have a card to make for my friend's 40th birthday.

Foodwise, I've skipped breakfast this morning but I'm planning to have an early lunch of jacket potato and tuna. Haven't quite decided on tea yet...think I'll pull out some of the frozen turkey and make a curry or something.

Hope everyone has a great day, whatever they are doing.
    Love Dumpling xxx
  • Hello Everyone! :cheesy:

I was pretty awful food wise over the weekend! But, it's Monday and I'm feeling motivated again.

    Food for today:
Breakfast - porridge and a banana.
Lunch - HM carrot and lentil soup and maybe some HM bread. (I got a breadmaker at the weekend. I'm so excited - it is brilliant! But it is partly the reason why I was so bad at the weekend!)
Dinner - Haven't a clue yet. Possibly prawn and veggie stir fry with rice.

Must resist the urge to bake more bread. No - must resist the urge to eat more bread (still warm with lashings of butter!)

Hope you all have a good day.

    xxx

    Hello ladies and gents :j
At last a decent 'puter that lets me thank people and use smilies without having to trawl through a list :j
Not a good start to the day, lashing wind and rain, train 20 mins late, missed the free bus when I got off the train so more walking in the horrible weather
Had muesli and soya milk for brekkie, just had a banana and was going to have some melon and blueberry from Asda but despite being in date it was mouldy
Lunch is salad, boursin (last of the christmas leftovers) and oat cakes with more fruit. Teas will be whatever I decide when I get home possibly quorn fillets or egg, 'chips' and beans depending how cold/wet I am. Lots of walking today and I might do an exercise tape when I get home :rotfl: that is of course if OH has gone to work .......he has ManFlu
It's been lovely to read everyone's stories, it's nice getting to 'know' you all :T
    Back later folks :A

Enough of the self loathing dawnylou! We all have bad days and it's always harder in winter. My eating hasn't been too great - but i have done loads of exercise. A 4 hour walk on saturday and 2 hour walk yesterday, but pregnant tummy has suddenly popped out even more so have no idea what is pregnancy weight and what is cake really. But I feel quite fat :D

And suddenly realised I can't do 4 hour walks like i used to without backache and hip ache and tummy getting all sore, must take it a bit easier.
