We've been out for the day today, drove into Derbyshire......it was foggy and cold but still nice. Brekkie was egg on toast, lunch was soup and a roll at the garden centre then we were going to have a walk round the reservoir but it started to rain so we went in the cafe where I was attacked by a giant cherry cookie and a hot chocolate  Teas was veggie sausages, a few garlic and herb potatoes and courgettes and I had a small bowl of ice cream for pud
Hopefully I won't eat anything else tonight... See you tomorrow ladies :A

Re. the gym, I was referred by my GP nearly 3 years ago to something called 'Healthwise' because of fat and blood pressure, and instead of paying £30-35 per month (varied over the years) I started paying £11 per month for the first year, then £15 per month, now I am on the last few months of the £25 per month. In July 08 I shall have to decide whether to go for the full whack £35 per month - as gyms go this is really reasonable, it is council-run and has amazing facilities compared to many private ones I saw, many more classes and even better, larger gyms with up-to-date machines.
Or I might decide to ditch the membership and do it myself, but I really enjoy the aerobics and yoga classes, so perhaps I shall treat myself to a full year membership (cheaper than paying month by month), or I might even get the 'general' membership and then pay for the individual classes. Because I am over 50 now I can attend the 'club classes' which are cheaper than your average snazzy-leotard-string-up-the-bum, perma-pumped-super-slim-bimbo-ridden aerobic classes!
its definately worth looking into the pre pay options. my local council run a scheme call ed the stretch card for their gyms. i have the student one - £15 a year gets me half price admission to all activities at any council run gym in the county. never paid for than £2 for any activity, and the card more than paid for itself.
there are also various pre pay scheme, where you have the option to pre pay monthly or annually. it does work out marginally cheaper to go for the annual option (that is, of course, if you are disciplined enough to go all year round)

Hello again.
I've not done too bad today considering we had a big family lunch in an Italian restaurant for my Mother's 70th birthday. I piled loads of vegetables on my plate and gave tastes of the meat to all who asked. I also made do with one tiny roast potato, one soft drink and shared a dessert with my daughter - so had one profiterole with icecream.
Later my Mother pressed a box of chocolates onto me but I have managed to pass them on without eating more than two so not that bad. It's a good job I have given them away as I'd be tempted to have a couple now that we are home again.
I have my daughter home for the weekend but she is into healthy eating and lots of exercise so should be a good influence on me.
Have a good weekend.

Hi everyone. I had such a good day today(oh errr yesterday-just noticed time!) I was very in control of what went into my mouth although some fruit should have as well I guess!
Had a busy day made 2 trays of iced buns using my BM,used my SC to make a huge pan of vegetable soup which if you follow weightwatchers is no points.
Also made a huge pan of ratatouille which is bagged in the freezer to have as a low cal pasta sauce or lasagne filling.
Also made homemade meatballs and pasta sauce with spaghetti for dinner.
And......I have finished my 4000 word assignment for uni!!! So glad it is now out of the way!!!
Hope everyone has a good day on Sat!!0 -
Morning Ladies,
Having a lazy day today as it wont be long before we are all back at work and school and then it's back to Bedlham
Feeling very fed up with meself this morning. There is a job in a local High School that I reaally fancy and it would fit in around the Tadpoles but I'm not going for it as I'm too fat
I really want a new job as I've had enough of mine as it's a bit carp and boring but I decieded I'd give it until the Summer Holidays, once Tadpole 2 was at High School and I'd lost all of my weight. I know some of you will think I should go for the job anyway and I'm more than qualified and good at interviews so I'm sure I'll have a good chance. However, I literally have NOTHING smart to wear, either for the interview or if I got the job. I also think Teenagers would be very cruel if I was still this fat and I don't fancy putting myself in that situation. I want to loose the weight and then have a new start in a new job where no one knew I was once larger.
Guess It should just motivate me to get my ar*e in gear and make this MY year
Right, off to have a shower and get ready for the day . Will post later, see yaSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

HI all, I had a reasonably good day yesterday, only problem is at the moment, my budget is really low for food so am having to use up stuff we have in, yesterday had a chicken thigh and drumstick (no skin) a couple of pieces of garlic bread and a handful of potato wedges oh and a few cherry tomatoes for tea (what we call picky tea)
Lunch was ok, had soup with half a bread roll and a little bit of cheese and breakfast was a bacon sandwich....
I did have a few chocs though as wellbut no alcohol so not a completely bad day....
Sounds like you are all off to a good start, Frogga shame about that job, is there no way you could manage to go for it, it might help you to keep focused on your weight loss and all your new colleagues/kids would be able to witness your transformation!! but I understand where you are coming from and you do sound pretty focused anyway...
Hope you all have a good weekend...:D and remember 'eat but don't cheat' in the words of the lovely Dale Winton !Jun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30
