Well, day 3 of the weight loss campaign and I've woken up with a bad headache. Don't think it's related to the cutting back on food though, just a coincidence. It will make it harder to go out and get some exercise, especially as there is a sprinkling of snow everywhere.
I am trying to empty the freezer this week as we are off to Spain on Wednesday. We are lucky enough to spend the winters out there as I have an internet based job so have only been back in the UK for 3 weeks over Christmas. I can't wait to get back to sunshine and daily walks on the beach.
Meals today: Breakfast: muesli with skimmed milk and raisins
Lunch: A bowl of soup and a home baked roll
Dinner: Home made lasagne
Snacks - using up the bananas and clementines from the fruit bowl.Weight Loss Challenge 5/7/19 10st 6lbs

OK, day 2. Breakfast - porridge with skimmmed milk and a little honey, lunch chicken salad sandwich, dinner - undecided, either veggie stir fry and rice or something pasta-y. Snacks - fruit.
I have made my children finish off the chocs, biscuits etc. - they are devastated, obviously!!!Jan 2015 Grocery Challenge £185.10/£5000 -
Hi ladies,
So far so good today, I even managed to resist the box of chocolates on my desk (easy now I know the mice pee'd on them)
However a bowl of quality street still on the cofee table...... they have protective wrappers:rolleyes:
Can not believe it's Friday tomorrow- I love these three day weeks.

Hi all,
In the end I did not go to my exercise class because the train that I was going to catch to go to the gym was cancelled, instead I went shopping (which I had to do anyway) and then home and did some long-needed work (paid!).
After work I prepared dinner (barley and lentil soup, beetroots and sauteed cabbage and onions) and then ironed some shirts for my DH.
Now just loafing for a little while and planning an early dinner and early night, I am quite tired (is it because I am not eating a lot?). I was really planning to go tonight at 6pm for another keep fit class to make up for the missed one but it is brass monkeys and I really want to stay indoors.
Anyway, the food plan so far is going ok, after my leftover couscous lunch I had a tbsp of raisins and a couple of almonds, then a 1 oz chunk of cheddar with some tomato and cucumber and 2 oatcakes (very proud I did not eat the third one!) for afternoon snacks. Then tonight dinner as described above, all SW counted.
Goodnight all, see you tomorrow for more inspiration!
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Good days eating here for me.
I've just finished a lovely HM chicken casserole with dumplings. (2 sml instead of my usual 3 massive.) I'm making progress slowly.
The only eating that wasn't planned was when the kids came in from the cinema with unopened sweets. Who does that?Anyway, I nicked 4 jelly babies, which I'm not bothered about because I think that's way good for me.
Off to the library to pick up my requests and then onto Tesco for a couple of bits.
Love the mouse pee trick. Quite a good visualisation exercise I think I'll try to use.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £68.12/ £250

Hello ladies :hello: Sorry Dumpling but I can beat you, my baby is 30 and has 2 kids of her own, I was just under 9stone when I got pregnant, put on 4 and a half stone and still have 2 and a half to lose :rotfl: Actually I want to lose a stone to feel comfortable :DI went for a swim today and actually SWAM FOR AN HOUR  Wonderful, there were only 4 of us in the pool which is why I stayed in, I really enjoyed it :jNot tooooooo bad foodwise, toast with banana and honey for brekkie, a cereal bar after my epic swim, soup and a roll for lunch. We then went to the allotment for a bit and I had 4 buttered crackers when we got back with a cuppa - I was SOOOOOO cold, I needed food to warm me up ! Tea was a butternut squash and boursin risotto - still on sloppy food 'cos of OH's tooth extraction
and a tiny piece of christmas cake for afters (we could be eating this until Easter) I've also been and enrolled for a latin dance class starting in 2 weeks so if I keep swimming twice and belly dancing that will make 4 lots of exercise, combined with the walking every day.......If I don't lose some weight with all that lot AND healthy eating
Taplady - well done on the loss :T Frogga - back at the top again I see :T Everone else :A

Oh things were going so well. I did an angelic trip around Tesco, trolley full of reduced fruit and veg, and then I spotted the xmas liquer d cream for pence. I'd eyed that up all over the hols and thought too expensive.
I've just had a big teaspoon full on the healty fruit salad.
Good news was a I wasn't impressed so will freeze it and use in a suitable recipe another time.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £68.12/ £250

Just a quick check in, I'm so proud of myself today. I had porridge for breakfast and an apple.
Then a plum mid morning and a little pot noodle type pack but it was cous cous with roasted veg. When I got home I made some chicken and rice with cabbage. While I was in the kitchen, I made lunch for tomorrow which is the left over chicken and salad. I'll also pop a couple of bits of fruit in! I'm eating my my grans tomorrow so I know what ever it is will be homemade and lovely.Getting there... A deal at a time. :T0 -
Hi Everyone, hope you all have had good days.
I forgot I was supposed to post on here what I ate etc and it wasn't the best start for me
My best friend and 2-door-down neighbour (and her family whose kids are the same age as mine) left today to move back to Wales. I'm gutted, she is such a good friend and has been a great support to me this last year, its nice to know there is a safety net 2 doors down, and now she's moved away sobSo there was a bit of comfort eating going on.
Anyway whilst what I ate was neither healthy nor old style it is still within my WW points - I'm following WW and get lots of points as I am breastfeeding. So here's what I ate:
B: strawberry crips cereal and skimmed milk (very high in sugar but I am using it up)
L: McDonaldsvegi deli sandwich and a coffee (at least I skipped the fries) and an apple pie
spaghetti and meatballs with carrots, peppers, cauliflower and celeriac- yum
And fruit salad for pud
Need a little snack of some sort before bed, I have some of those pink'n'white biscuits so maybe a couple of those as they are massive but mostly air!
Couldnt get to WW this morning so will try to go to a Saturday morning one instead.

Hi everyone, I have been pretty good today, had cereal and toast for breaky in the end and then tuna pasta salad for lunch, tea was home made salmon fishcakes with rice (a tesco diet recipe that is nicer than I thought and my 21month twin girls love them as well so a bonus) they had theirs with croquet pots though...
Had my weigh in this morning and had lost 2lbs so really pleased...did cheat a bit today though as still have stuff in that I don't normally buy - ate a few biscuitsand had a few malibu and diet cokes tonight (havn't had that since I was a teenager but got given a bottle for Christmas)
Thanks for all the inspirationJun GC £250.00/£12.40 NSD 3 / 30
