Hi all!
Might try and join you here as trying t be more OS in my life and have been part of a self created 'fat club' since August and I had lost 1 stone 9lbs but I am a bit scared about how much I've put on since Chrimbo??? I have eaten lots of cheese, puddings, bigger portions etc etc and gone right off track!!
Anyone else like that out there???0 -
Morning everyone.
Well I made it to day two and still happy to carry on eating sensibly, although I had some serious snacky pangs last night. Watching come dine with me on 4OD probably didn't help.
Today's a tough one as we're off to the cinema. I've got some frozen grapes instead of sweets and crisps and popcorn - they just don't sound as appealing.
So today I'm having
Breakfast:
Boiled egg, toast
Lunch:
Crisprolls, ham salad
Dinner:
Mince beef, jacket potato, mixed veg.
Snack:
Grapes
Banana.
We're going to walk to the cinema, which will take about half an hour, and depending how cold it is, we might walk back. DDs will love that
If tea is included in the 8 glasses of water a day applemella, I think I'm covered as I drink about 15 cups a day. No wonder I needed to keep running to the loo, as I was trying to add more water to that yesterday.

Morning all, not read all the posts to catch up... did I miss much?
Healthy eating started again on Monday for me and OH so today is day 3. (apart from a slice of flapjack last night when we went to friends for tea) OH took me out for a walk on Monday too - 2 hours and he wouldn't let me stop even for a minute  On the way back we went past Lidl so got a bit of shopping too but then had to lug it up the hill home.
Breakfast today was porridge with some cherries that I stewed with a little syrup.
Lunch is HM carrot and tomato soup and a brown roll.
Tea will be chicken stirfry.
Snacks will be an apple and a bananaworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hi all, I'm back in the saddle with this now. I've recently moved house and have been eating at friends or eating pasta because I didn't want to brave the shops as I really hate queues. Hopefully now it'll slow down and I can get in and fill my cupboard with basic essentials.
This morning I've had an apple for Breakfast and will probably make smoked mackerel pasta for dinner tonight.Getting there... A deal at a time. :T0 -

Pipkin - one of the decisions I made a couple of years ago was giving up eating in cinemas. I've never regretted it. All my life I've taken sweets in and then munched through the lot before the trailers were over. I'd look hopefully along the line to see if the kids had any left.
One day I went with a friend and I felt right sorry for her, thinking she'd forgotten her little store, so gamely offered her a few of mine. She told me she hadn't long had her lunch so didn't need anything. I thought, 'eh, wots that got to do with anything?'She's right, it was a habit not a need. I now treat myself to a coffee and enjoy that far more. Mind, took me about a year to not feel deprived.
