Hi everyone, I'm just popping on to say that I shall be here 9am 1st January, all shiny and ready to go! I too have a lot to lose and as a great fan of this Old Style board (and this thread in particular) I'm really looking forward to it in a strange and perverse way. :rotfl:
See you soon guys, love Dumpling0 -
Hi,
Can I please join in the weight loss challenge? Getting married in July so would really like to shift a couple of stone before then. I will add my weight and target to my signature once I can be bothered getting off my fat behind and making my way to the scales! Not going to start til January so I am still allowed to be lazy at the moment! I eat quite healthily during the day, but tend to snack a lot at night when bored, so I need to keep myself busy (and not buy biscuits that could tempt me).
Thanks in advance for all your support!

If you can save enough money for flights to New York, you are more than welcome!!! ha ha. Just having a small do so 12 close friends and family going over. Looking forward to it, but dreading the wedding photos so need to shift some weight asap (particularly from my enormous chest as finding it difficult to get a dress to fit! :rolleyes: ).0

Welcome to the newbies and good luck to all in the campaign
Frogga....you can put anything anywhere you have a space but things like Scarlet Runner beans and beetroot are colourful additions to your beds...sounds lovely already...I am sure that there is somewhere for more useful advice than mine but can't think at present, will let you know when I find something.
Today I have eaten:
Breakfast: porridge made on water with banana, honey and milk;
Lunch: slice bread with hummous on one half and tapenade on the other, coffee;
Dinner: ham, potato, cabbage, piece of Christmas pudding, small glass wine

Hi Everyone :hello:Spent half the day building a storage unit for the kitchen - must have burnt off lots of calories as I was sweating like a pig :rotfl:I'm back on track from Tuesday, we're going out for the day tomorrow so will have lunch out and Monday (I get my stitches out YAY!!) we have the kids staying overnight :eek: ..........I say we but OH is doing a waking night - 10 hours double time was too good to refuse, then he's home for a few hours and back for his normal shift at time and a half :dance: It could be a bit hard keeping a 2 and a 5 year old quiet but I'll think of something (it might involve chocolate)Keiss - It's OH's dream to have an observatory in the garden....if we had one! He used to go to the Manchester AS but they did very little observing so he and a few friends go out together now and then, star _party_Welcome all the newbies, glad to have you on board :j frogga - it's good to know who you're friends are
See you tomorrow folks :A

Lunch was HM broccoli and cheese soup with a Brie sandwich, breakfast was porridge. Have also had a clementine and small banana and little bit of cake, so have had plenty today!
MRSM - you are being very good not having all those goodies!:A :T
I am finding it a struggle being faced with it all at work and home but it wont last for ever.
Have a great evening all

Hi everyone!
I think I need to join this thread too. I am about 2and a half stone overweight and am just eating the wrong things so not losing anything. This is the heaviest I have ever been.
Today I ate 2 slices of toast, pitta bread with houmous, half an indian selection and half a selection of jalepeno & cheese wedges - don't you just love the temptations in supermarkets at the mo. I haven;t had an evening meal yet either. Did have an hour long walk though which was lovely.
During a normal week I am at home for most of the day and cook an evening meal for the family but i just tend to snack all day and drink lots of tea with sugar in it.
I hope to get some inspiration from you guys and maybe even offer some tips for us all after a while.
Looking forward to getting to know you.:jHere come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!0
