There was chips and I had jacket potato instead *polishs halo* :A Heehee. Had a chicken that needed roasting today but really didn't fancy a full roast so turned mine into coronation chicken and had it with jacket spud. Everyone else is having chicken and chips. Besides that I've had weetabix, a mini time out bar (needed something whilst I was mucking out), two skinny slices of malt loaf and a chocolate moose. Done about an hours walking and two hours mucking out (as well as nearly falling off the ramp to the muck heap several times :rotfl: ) and then the hoovering when I got in. Now totally zonked as I'm not fully over this cold yet.
Welcome newbies and hello to everyone else:santa2:

Evening ladies
Well i am now at my mums :j -civilisation and common sense all in 1 house :T
Had roast chicken, stuffing, new potatoes, carrots n nobbies for dinner - and even got mum to do a sensible portion to boot :j .. oh and have eaten numerous clementines.... stuck my head in the "very full fridge" and decided i actually would rather have clementines.. even though my lovely mum has loads of "better choice" stuff for me to pick from :T cooked meats, salad etc
The last few days have tested my determination, will power -not to mention my patience... won't go into detail - lets just say that some peoples idea of being a "host" leaves a lot to be desired..(and its not that i expect a lot either - just to be higher up the food chain than the dog) and if we hadn't left today im not sure i could have bitten my tongue for much longer
Still we are now here until the 1st when we head back to there over night and then back home to on the 2nd :j
Sooooo, how is everyone doing?
I know there is a "well done" to taplady :j .. sorry to anyone else who has lost or stayed the same that i have missed:D
WOOHOO frogga... how ya diddling?
I won't be weighing myself until i get back.. so i may get a surprise either way:rotfl:
I gave away the box of chocs i was given:T and have now been given a bottle of baileys...which i won't be opening either :rotfl: -i think someone is testing me you know
well its only a quick one i know, but im off for a quick peek at what else im missing..then off to bed as im knick knack nooed - again
Hope we are all about ready for santa arriving... have a good evening everyone -and hugs to all those in need-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Morning Frogga and everyone!
An 11 hour shift and a sleep-in for me today before i break up for christmas!
Also we are going out for at least 1 meal today at work but I need to be good after the 3 course one I had last night!:D I finished it off with 3 choccies as well!:o
I have just had 2 small wholemeal toasts and later will have a clementine or 2 but other than that I havent got a clue what I'll be eating.
My plan for getting through Christmas is to eat what I want but only small amounts of it plus get a lot more exercise in - lots of dog walking etc to counteract the goodies!
Good luck everyone!;)

Morning fat fighters!
Been up for hours due to the blasted carpal tunnel syndrome
Just had bowl of porridge with spoonful of maple syrup (am I right in thinking it's low GI? or at least not as bad as refined sugar?)
And a clementine.
Will weigh myself today and find out how much weight i've put on since I got preggers in august (hoping I haven't gone over the 13 stone mark yet - was 12 and a half at the beginning of the pregnancy).
<Fingers crossed!>

Morning, not been on for a couple of days, due to work and being sociable with Chrimbo coming up!
Yesterday was a poor day. Mid afternoon we had a festive spread at work, so I ate a couple of somasa thingies, crisps and half a slice of cheesecake. Then for tea I made egg fried rice and cooked yummy chicken that was so yummy I had to eat all the sticky crispy skin!
Oh well! I've started off well this morning with a bowl of porridge, so lets see how the day goes!
I've got today at work, then 4 days off, then an evil 9 day stretch!0 -
Morning frogga, mrsm, taplady and everybody else too
Pigpen - when I used to take sugar in my coffee I found sweeteners tasked yuk so I gradually cut down eg went from a heaped teaspoon to a flat one. When I got used to that went to 3/4 then to 1/2. It was so gradual I didn't notice it much (and made sure initially I didn't add any extra in). Now I can't drink it with any sugar in at all as it's too sweet!!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Me too piggy ~ when I was a tadpole my parents used to put sugar in our tea and we had sugar on cereal et.c . Once I grew up I stopped having it and now I think it tastes auful if someone accidentally puts sugar in my tea. I defo think you get used to it . As for sweetners I think there are health concerns about them. I think they are banned in the USA because of the links to cancer ( well, that's what My Mum says
) Perhaps like newlywed said you could cut down a small little bit at a time , then maybe you wont notice so much
Good luck

Welcome Protogenia, Hello MrsM - it's been very quiet without you
Well done to the losers and maintainers, I've put on a pound :rotfl:
Haven't shopped yet - I'll do that at stupid o clock in the morning but I was stuck on Sainsbugs car park for 30mins last night.......we'd eaten in the cafe, the shop was very quiet but the car park and the access road were blocked solid
*makes mental note to shop elsewhere*
I'm not listing my food, I've eaten cr*p for the last 2 days and today is the last day in work so you'll have to put up with my partial posts from home.... OH tried to explain to me why the 'puter was playing up but I fell asleep before the end :rotfl: :rotfl:
See you tomorrow ladies :A0 -
