meanmarie thanks for your good wishes...I do hope that's the disasters over for this year!
Mind you, this morning the electric shower shower wouldn't work (I feared the worst!), but thankfully (?) it was because we had no water! Luckily it came back on so I could shower before going to my college's Christmas lunch...and very nice it was too! Lunch was a buffet, I avoided the creamy sauces, and tucked into some wonderful food...and no seconds, though I did have a small chocolate mousse!
I had a great time, then came home, had tea before going to my DS1s last Christmas concert at his school...off to Uni next year! So I am now officially feeling festive,, and feel ready to cope with MIL coming on Friday!
Food today:
B: Special K, Soya milk + OJ
Cereal bar
Xmas L: small piece of poached salmon, slice of cooked beef and gammon, salads :- beetroot + orange, feta, squash + rocket, aubergine + mushrooms...yummy...oh and a small choccie mousse!
T: HM pasta + tomato sauce, with peas and cabbage
No work or Xmas meals tomorrow, but dentist checkup am. Teeth are hopefully ok this time!
Off to bed...k*****r*ed!
I'll try and pop in tomorrow

Morning all! In a dash so haven't had a chance to read all the posts I've missed.
Yesterday wasn't a good day as people seem to be bringing in big tins of biscuits to work. I ate 2 of those big thickly coverec Cadbury's chocolate biscuits that come in those purple tin. I had Japanese noodles for lunch, but then ended up eating another lunch as there was a Christmas buffet in the next door office, so I had a slice of turkey, 2 roasties and some veg. Tea was beans on homemade wholemela bread for my new Panny BM.
At least I did a spin class plus an extra 30 minutes of fat burning exercises in the gym in the morning.0 -
Morning ladies :xmassmile
It all fell apart last night  is it something to do with OH being at home I ask myself  2 choccie biccies and then toast.........not a lot I know but enough to make me annoyed at myself:mad:
Today - toast and marmalade for brekkie, just had a banana and a cereal bar. Going for a swim at lunchtime then to the docs to have a small lump taken off my leg so will grab myself a nice butty in M&S on the way - I deserve a treat!;)
Tea will be spinach and riccotta sausages, wedges and veggies, OH is at home again so hopefully I will stay away from the cupboards..........
Hope you all have a nice day ladies, :A0 -
Hi all. Run out of money, most food and enthusiasm so gave in today and got a ham and salad baguette from sandwich man (and now owe him £). At least it was healthy though with no mayo or anything - just a white baguette
Oh well. Tea is left over turkey and lentil curry from the other night - may have to pad it out with tinned potatoes. Have no salad, no fruit, only carrots left, only bread left is white.
Hopefully pay will clear tomorrow - unfortunately means I have to go food shop in my lunch hour then  Are the supermarkets all manic?
Should I brave it again on Monday to see if there's any reduced bargains? Or wait till 27th?Anyone any tips?
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Back from docs, leg is bl**dy sore
Think it might have to be takeaway for tea rather than standing cooking.........I'l be ok in the morning!!
