Hi there misscuttiepie
Just spotted the post you mentioned... what amazes me, is that it is a person who has obviously posted often enough to know better than to be so mean and rude..
Good old Nykmedia has pulled them up about it though- so you see its only the odd ignorant pillock that thinks its ok to say what they like...
Just join in with us lot whenever you feel like it, the lovely ladies on here have been of more help to me than any slimming club -and trust me -i have tried them all :rotfl: ... its great to know that there is always someone there when you are feeling tempted, and we have quite a few laughs toonot to mention swapping hints, tips and recipes

unfortunately for me i suffer from PCOS so i can put on the weight just by looking at something but its probably at least twice as hard for me to lose it. Doubled up with the fact that im very fussy whereas most people have a handful of things that i do like so this make life very difficult.Official DFW Nerd number 227

Welcome misscutiepie. Just ignore whoever made that comment. People like that are usually idiots who make themselves feel better by making 'funny' comments about others. From the looks of your siggy you're doing pretty well so far :T
Had some chilli for tea (with cous cous cos we were out of rice) Everyone else was having spag bol but i wanted something i could taste through my cold! Mum was stood over me going "don't add that much you'll make it too hot!" Shes very good at forgetting I've lived away from home perfectly well before and can cook for myself  I know shes only being nice, but we do drive each other potty sometimes! Anyway, I could just about taste it and it was yummy and nowhere near too hot.
Doped up on flu plus i have made it through the x factor final (bah, not happy with the result!) and done some wrapping up. Sister wanted me to wrap all hers up individually even tho half of them go together. So now shes got lots of little presents to unwrap come christmas day. Going to wrap up mums and her OHs tomorrow when they're out of the house. Also really have to tidy my room tomorrow, currently looks like my wardrobe exploded over the floor :rotfl:
Righty-ho gonna go have a hot chocolate, watch the rest of eddie izzard and go to bed. Night all.I'm through accepting limits'Cuz someone says they're soSome things I cannot changeBut till I try, I'll never know!0 -
Hello all,
This is my post for Saturday....maybe Sunday as well as DD4 is up to her neck in exams and some of her stuff for her English exams have to be done on-line so it may be Wednesday before I have reasonable access again...by which time my two grand-daughters will have arrived for Christmas and we won't be able to hear ourselves think!
Weigh in this morning was half a pound down...better than nothing and as I had a few bad days I suppose I'm lucky there was any loss.
Mrs MC...so glad that you won't be missing over the Christmas and New Year period...we need you sometimes long posts to keep us on straight and narrow...I do anyway as your energy levels are something else...have a safe journey...DS1 and family will be coming on Wednesday...they drive from near Amsterdam to Calais and then from Dover to Holyhead...think that the whole journey takes 20 hours or so, but means that they don't have to limit themselves to what they can take....and I will have my car for me while they are here!
Today I have eaten
Lunch....bacon, egg, polish sausage, bread coffee,
Dinner...hm soup and onion sandwich
Snacks...2 clementines, 2 slices madeira cake.
Sleep well all

Hello ladies! I'm early today *stifles yawn* :)We're off shopping in a bit, last minute bits for crimbo and a new loo seat - it broke the other day!I did somethng I'm going to regret last night......I have a cousin in Oz that I've never got on with, we hated each other as kids, his son is working over here at the moment and he rang last night saying he had nowhere to go for crimbo, lonley etc - all his close relatives are going away for christmas! I invited him for a meal on Boxing Day (bearing in mind OH is working Christmas and Boxing Day is our only day) .........He announced he's coming up on CHristmas Eve!!!! How do I get out of this one????? He is NOT staying here but how can I tell him without offence.....I can't can I

Morning everyone
Well my next door neighbour popped around yesterday with "a little something" to say thankyou for when i keep an eye on their little one... which was really lovely of them..... but can anyone guess what i was given? go on - bet you know -
here we are :-
By xmasme
:wall: .... that box has been sat looking at me all evening...well ok I was looking at IT :rotfl: -it has 64 of those chocs and they aren't tiny either
But i managed to hang on by the skin of my teeth
But they are still looking at me - think i may convince myself to give them to my mamma....
I have sooooo much to do today.. but im still sat here on my behind- still im sure i will get it done ..eventually :rotfl:
Hubby has gone golfing and then has to load the car tonight ..so if you here of thunder storms over Germany -you know who that will be :rotfl:
Rockie4 - you have done just what i used to do a lot of.... offer to do something on the spur of the moment - or when cornered and then the minute the words are out -you wish you could cut your tongue out
Don't envy you trying to get out of that one.... isn't it amazing how folks you don't hear from for ages suddenl pop up when they are after something
Meanmarie .. :T on the loss... at this time of year just staying the same is brilliant, so well done - so happy for you....
I hope you have DS bringing lots of lovely stuff back with him...
The journey won't be too bad - says she who isn't drivingbut the autobarns put the fear of god into me... the speed that you can travel on them  .... i drove on 1 once.. when there was very little traffic on the roads.. hubby got me to overtake a lorry -loads of room etc.. i managed it (just) and the promptly had to pull into the services as it made me feel so sick -hubby had to drive :rotfl:
Alibow if it makes you feel any better i will be 36 in 6 days and i can bet diamonds that as soon as i get home my lovely mum will still think im about 5 years old :rotfl: ... "are you hungry?" "No thanks", "are you sure?", "yes thanks", "what about a sandwich?" "no thanks", "are you sure?" and on it will go and then it will be hubbies turn :rotfl: which is even worse because if he says he isn't hungry she will ask me if he is :rotfl: -but bless her she is only trying to look after us - hmm i will try and remember that when she is driving me loopy
Morning frogga... hope it isn't too chaotic in the supermarket ..... have just pmd you
well folks i will get off and get something done thrrrrrppp
be back later
have a good day everyone and HELLO to anyone i have missed-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50
