I sort of get paid, IYKWIM , I actually get paid for the weeks I work ( 34 ) and 5 weeks holiday plus 8 bank holidays and the money is split over the full 12 months so I get an equal ammount each month. That's good as I know exactly how much I've got and I don't go short over the 10 weeks summer holiday. Yes 10 weeks !!! Irritating isn't it?;)Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

OH is a teacher, so he gets loads of holiday. He's never more than 7 weeks away from at least a week off, which I think is a fab thought. On the down side, the holidays seem to be taken up by marking and lesson planning! With all those hols you must work at a private school?
A couple of people I work with work on a term time only contract. They work full time in term time and have all the school holidays off. They don't get any extra days off, as it includes all their annual leave, but I think its a brilliant way of working for parents. They also get paid over 12 months, so they know what they are getting.
I am dead happy, just made a scrummy guacamole. I very very finely diced a small avocade, a tomato and a spring onion, and stirred it all together with some lime juice, tabasco and S&P. It was delish shoved into a wholemeal pitta.
My thighs have found a new enemy. I've just bought a Panny Breadmaker (SD254) for £40 delivered from amazon. I've wanted one for ages! It really bugs me that all nice wholemeal or seeded loaves only seem to be sold in thick slices, which is just extra unessecary calories and carbs. I've also found a £10 off £25 spend at Lakeland and have been looking at bread bags, yeast and bread mixes. I just love spending money!!0 -
