Thanks everyone for your kind words, it really cheered me up this morning. :j

DH in bed ill (sore stomach and diarrhoea ...spelling??); DS2 sore stomach, but no runs yet (thank goodness as he is diabetic, and it would cause havoc with sugar levels), but not going to school...at least he managed 4 days this week...best attendance for ages!

So, I have made packed lunches for both DS, walked the dog, washed up, and am cleaning the carp from behind the washing machine before the plumber comes and probably tells me to get a new machine....aaargh.

That and my best friend is coming @ 9:30.....for a natter, as it is the only time we can manage to see each other before Christmas for a good old chin-wag without the family (ill chaps banished to their beds!) about. I still haven't managed to get all of her pressies completed (making things) so I will be dropping them off to her next week sometime..I have decided not to get stressed about it all.

I have another week to finish making and wrapping all the hand-delivered pressies...except my sister's mob...who are comeing over on Sunday....maybe I will start panicking!

    Will pop in later

    M

Frogga - you're right about the job - I love it and there's such a great bunch of people there its a bit like being at home!:D I'm taking one of them to my sisters band concert tomorrow night which should be fun, he'll love the mince pies and mulled wine.

Keiss - I hope your 2 poorly ones soon feel better and that you have a good natter - since my mate moved away we have to make do with the phone but its not the same!

MRSM - well doen on your continuing weight loss!:T

Hi all. Back safe. No problems travelling on photo driving licence either.

Thanks to frogga and Mrsm for noticing I was missing ;)

Just feel totally exhausted now. Was good to get together with all my family but a really difficult time too :(. We all went out for a meal the evening after the funeral - to one of granny's favourite places. That was a good, much more cheery end to the day.

Ate too much of stuff I shouldn't have, drank a pint of guinness or two - so not getting on any scales this week, especially as it's TOTM too

Stayed in a hostel over there which had extremely lumpy beds (bunk beds too) so didn't get much sleep - feel like I need to sleep for a whole week. Owe money for the flight etc but glad I went, learned a few extra bits about my gran that I didn't know :o

    WOOHOO newlywed

Glad everything went ok... heck it would have been rude not to see your Gran off in style, so a few pints of guiness and a good feed is nothing to worry about...
Now you need to snuggle up and catch up on some sleep - there is nothing like your own bed is there ;)

Now we just have to track down Kittyscarlett  ... im not sure if i have missed something  did kitty mention going away? come on folks -we have nearly everyone else back in place... just need to trace kitty.... hmmm

yooohoo..morning Taplady... hope all is well with you and yours !!

  • Keiss 21- Welcome back! I’m sure you’ll lose some weight rushing around and nursing DH and kids! Just try and avoid picking up the bug yourself
RS- I had the Mirena fitted at the start of this year (was on depot before). I didn’t notice any change in my weight, although I have had it removed due to other side effects. I didn’t have a TOTM while on it, although even with depot I didn’t, so that might be good for you.
    AliBow Good news about Grandma!
Frogga 18 weeks of holiday! I want to kill you already!
Juliejim, Well done on the stay the same
MrsMc – 1lb off on the run up to Chrimbo- great stuff! I used to hate cats. I really wanted a dog, so convinced OH if we could prove we could look after a cat, then we could get a dog. We got kittens as I knew that if I fell in love with them when they were tiny, then I would still love them when they got a bit bigger. We’ve now got 3 of the b!ggers and no dog!
Newlywed- Welcome back, glad to hear it went as well as it could have done.
Taplady, Bobbadog, Taplady, whoever I have forgotten- Morning all!

    Foodwise, I'm planning on having
    B- Porridge with skimmed milk
    L- Undecided yet
T- Roast chicken, carrots, peas and spuds (sprayed with a bit of oil spray as opposed to soaked in lovely fat!

    Afternoon all,

Didn't get on to do menu for yesterday...I ate:

    Porridge with milk and honey...small serving;
Lunch: half club sandwich with half serving of chips, cappucino
Afternoon...two bowls of hm veg soup
Evening...other half of club sandwich, half bowl soup, clementine

This morning was up early, needed to take medication so had warm roll with little butter, two cups coffee.

Just realised that I forgot to weigh in this morning, will do it to-morrow, doubt if the news is good!
