    Morning folks :snow_laug
Last night wasn't good, I think it was because OH had a night off :wall: and spent it asleep on the sofa having spent the day asleep in bed  I had 2 choc ices and 2 penguins.......actually, if I think about it thst's not bad for a pigfest compared to what I used to put away :o
I'm starving today, I had toast and marmalade for brekkie and have just had a banana and a cereal bar. Lunch is a feta/salad roll and a bag of crisps - s*d the blood pressure today, I won't eat until after my belly dancing class so that's exercise and will counteract the crisps

Frogga - who cares what others think, enjoy your meal, how many of them have issues with food? most of them I bet!

JoeyEmma - I wouldn't worry about the collars now the stitches should be almost healed. My cat pulled her stitches out the next day but was fine. She's 10 now but still does the wall of death round the house when we come in!

MrsM - hope MrM is back at work now, they drive you mad don't they :wall:

Alibow -hope your granma is ok, gets some lemsips down you to help with the cold (particularly helpful at bedtime with a shot of whisky in  )

Everyone else - have a great day!! :A

    Morning all :D

Hubby tootled off to work this morning..and hasn't come back yet - so i guess they haven't bedded him down  ...love him to bits..but im used to having my routine during the day and hate it getting upset :o ...and on top of that he was feeling so rough that had it continued we wouldn't have made it back to the Uk as hubby was to groggy to drive  ..don't want 10 hampers full of goodies stopping here any longer than they have to ;) ....

The problem is that now my routine has been messed up i can't get back in to it :rotfl: have been sat knitting this morning :j ..... about 3/4 of the way through my ickle nieces scarf..well the main body of it.. will then have to make the pompoms for the end ... that will be 2 scarves down and 5 to go.. am planning on working on hubbies x stitch during the day whilst he isn't about to see it, then work on mums when hubby is about and then in the evenings when the light isn't so good i will knit - and somewhere amongst that lot i will be cooking and cleaning :rotfl: oh and walking for exercise to burn some wobble off :p

My eating seems to be all over the place at the minute.. not eating enough of the good stuff ..well except silly amounts of clementines n oranges... i will be glad when we get back in the new year and everything gets back to normal..well as normal as anything ever is in this house :D

Have to pop out tonight..we need to pick up the beer supplies to take back for over xmas.. all 8 crates :shhh: ...thing is its hubbies fave beer and a 0.5lt glass bottle works out at 19p :T .. a 20 bottle crate for about £3.80.. you pay more than that for 4 cans back in the UK-in fact hubby n brother buy the glass bottled beers at 3 for £5- so its silly not to do it... 4 of them are for 1 of my brothers..hoping it will help his cash go a bit further as xmas can be such an expensive time..

frogga..its not you who has issues hunny bun..its the great ignaramusses that you work with that have issues.... obviously they are so insecure in themselves that they have to attack others to make them feel less inadequate - so eat what you want and think Kn*ckers to them..and the *was and a and not an i ;)

Taplady.. hope you have a lovely couple of days off... you will get to that target in no time at all...

JoeyEmma .. i have developed an obsession with collecting in tins :rotfl:
    so far i have:-
    1. 1 for my weight loss.. 1 euro from me and 1 from hubby for every 1lb lost
    2. 1 for all the 2 euro coins i get
    3. 1 for the refunds i get when i take my bottles back to the supermarket
    4. 1 for gold coins
    5. 1 for bronze coins
    6. and now 1 for the sealed pot challenge :rotfl:
I have £230 in just the first 3 tins and that is just in the last few months :T don't know what is in the gold, bronze or sealed pot challenge tins yet.. not going to open them until they are full :j ..... it seems such an easy way of saving...
Im not sure what im going to use my sealed pot money for in dec 2008 as im aiming to make as many pressies as i can for it .... mind i would love to treat hubby to something really special as he is a wonderfull old boot (when he isn't under my feet):rotfl: -just don't know what it will be -still have 12 months to think about it :p

Well as mad as it seems, its not long now until the nights start drawing out again... so that should make most of us feel a bit more lively and motivated..
Salad season will soon be here folks and then watch those lbs melt away :T

Well i had better get off and get some work done -for work substitute knitting :shhh:

Hope everyone has a great day.....keep at it folks

am i missing something..do we have kittyscarlett and newlywed missing? i know Newlywed was back off to Ireland... but where is kitty? or have i just not looked far enough back? its my age you know -doesn't take much to confuse me :p
anyway i hope everyone is well and hugs to all those in need

  • Rockie4 I wouldn't stress about a small pig out. As you said, before you would have had much more, so in fact I would consider it a low fat indulgence!

MrsMc I know what you mean about routines being out. I can't wait to get back to work and having my normal routine. Oh and thanks for reminding me about the sealed jar thing. It was only last night, but I've already forgotten!

    Morning all,

Just about to take OH for new hearing aid batteries and to meet DSIL for lunch...have just had porridge for breakfast as lunch will be at 12.45.

Cold today and nothing really planned except making up spare rooms beds...invasion starts next week so tree needs to go up as well grand-daughters will be most annoyed if that is not done. OH has put up outside icicle and lantern lights so a little festive, the scrooge in me has a thing about outside lights but I've been outvoted!

    Have a lovely day all

    Right, food!

B: some sort of hoop cereal, w/ semi skimmed. Tea.
L: leftover HM lasagne (small, mainly veg), juice
D: tandoori chicken curry (just tried it and not loving it, so have added a spoon of honey and tastes slightly better now)
Snack: Cupcakes! Just made a batch

I wish that was all I get, I like rosy cheeks. I even like rain.. but not when it makes me hurt... I get agonising pain from my hips to my ankles and my wrists and hands and usually end up living on pain killers for months.. Which of course just makes me grumpy and short tempered which is unpleasant for everyone.

Frogga - glad you enjoyed the meal!:j

Had lunch out with Mum which was nice and have just made some veggie soup with all the leftover veggies - butternut squash, courgette, aubergine, onion, carrot, sweet potato, parsnip and a bit of stock - yummy!

    Breakfast - weetabix and raisins

    clementine and SW hi-Fi bar

Lunch - jacket spud, cheese and salad

    low fat fromage frais

Dinner - vegetable lasagne and salad

If I'm peckish I'll have some of my veggie soup.
