    Morning everyone, you lovely bunch :)

    Was well behaved yesterday - only naughty was a jaffacake. Got up at 5.40 with OH this morning and in the past hour have made his breakfast and lunch and seen him off, peeled potatoes for sausage and mash tonight, filed my online tax return (at last!!!!) and had a cuppa. Still 2 hours before I leave for work, so best get some washing on.

    Today's food:

    B: probably cereal, w/ semi skimmed, tea
    L: leftover pasta and pesto (little pesto), low fat ski yoghurt, carrots
    D: Sausage, mash and veggies

    Morning! I think I am going to lose weight today purely by worrying! The kittens came back from being neutered yesterday. The little girl managed to get out of her collar overnight and the grown up cat has now decided to hate them as they smell funny. We've kept them in separate rooms but they managed to run between legs and get into the lounge together. Queue lots of hissing and paws swatting from the big cat. Then to top it off the little girl started ripping at her stitches. They are the most timid and scared kittens ever, so OH had to turn back from his way to work and spend 10 minutes trying to catch her to put the collar back on! I'm now panicking about it coming off again! Arghhhh! The stress! I'm going for a shower now to get it over and done with so I can supervise again if necessary! It wasn't like this with the older lot! I wanted a peaceful morning to watch the second half of Cranford

    Morning ladies :xmassmile

    JoeyEmma - Ah! the joy of kittens, been there, and got several t-shirts and clawed arms :D

    I was goodish last night, I wanted something sweet later on so had a handful of sultanas. Today I've had my muesli and soya milk, I've got a salad for lunch with avocado and humus but have to nip to town in my lunchbreak so I might have to buy a buttie to eat on the bus and leave the salad for tomorrow, it should be ok in the fridge.

    Frogga - I did most of my cleaning (well, a whizz round) this morning while waiting for OH to come home, I was up at 5.30 and hoovering at 6am:eek: At least it looks like someone cares now :D

    Right, off to do some work, the boss is out most of the day so I'm IC this morning....

    See you later folks :A

    Evening ladies

    I have been lurking too :D ... have managed to get my xmas cards written.... and have done about 8" of my next scarf :j ... tomorrow im off to get my last few xmas bits and then apart from a couple more baskets to wrap and a bit of a clean up in the house - i am all done n dusted :T

    hubby was at home today :wall: ..off back to work tomorrow -don't know if they will bed him down again..if so he is going to have to stay out of my way... i seem to get nothing done when he is around-hence sitting on my bum knitting :rotfl:

    frogga the thread is called the "sealed pot challenge" think its on about page 4 at the moment -on the debt free wannabe board...
    Im determined to save as much as i can in 2008... hence the making xmas pressies... which has several uses.... saves buying gifts, keeps me occupied and out of the shops and stops me from eating :j

    well back to my knitting i go :p
    have a good evening everyone :D

    I'm still here!

    The kittens are still skitten from their neutering and they must smell funny as the cat STILL hates them! I have had my hair done, I think I like it, although give me a couple of days.

    Food wise, its been ok
    B- Porridge with skimmed milk
    L- Butternut squash soup
    T- Spicy sausages made into a casserole with tomatoes, potatoes, onions, red peppers and paprika. It was scrummy. They were thin sausages and I had 2 of them. I normally would have had at least 3, so I consider it a low fat meal
    Snacks- berries in sugar free jelly, 2 satsumas and I've got a Bramley stuffed with raisins, cinnamon and splenda in the oven.

    I made my porridge with jumbo oats. They took ages to cook, but I like the nuttier and coarser texture. I'm soaking them in the milk overnight in order to cut down on cooking time.

    Housework- not done much, cleaned the oven out and cleaned the glass in the interior doors

    Ooohhh... what's the sealed pot challenge? Is there a link to the thread about it.

    Hi joeyEmma

    If you go onto the debtfree wannabe board... i think its now on page 1 on there-its called "the sealed pot challenge" set up by mumzyof 2 .... and basically we have all grabbed a pot, jar, bottle or whatever and we started on the 1st dec and we aren't going to open them until the 1st dec 2008 ... some of us have said how much we hope to save.... others just want to fill the pot.. think its a great way to save a bit extra for next xmas... anyone can join in if you want to

    Hi all,

    Still cold here, very tired, fed up knitting so going to call it a day soon and hit the sack.

    Today I have eaten:

    B....bran flakes, raisins, milk and coffee;
    11.00...small bacon sandwich;
    lunch....soup from yesterday;
    3.00...more soup;
    4.30...pork chop, turnip and mash;
    5.30...two small pancakes, with jam;
    9.00...thick slice bread and butter

    Not sure what's happening to my digestion...seem hungry all the time, may not be drinking enough, nor am I having enough fruit.

    Sleep well,

    Marie
