RS- Its all about being sensible, spoiling yourself every know and again and not punishing yourself for indulging! What's in a festive pie btw?
I've just been out for a Chinese. We had Thai hot and sour, a small spring roll, 2 steamed dumplings, some noodles and a good few spoonfuls of various main courses. Oh and a a bit of seaweed, but I'm sure the benefits of the iron in the cabbage outweigh the negative effects of the deep frying.0 -

Hello all. Been pretty good the last few days. I did have pizza and chocolate cake tonight but I also did a couple of miles walking and a couple of hours mucking out stables so plenty of exercise (going to be doing that eveyday this week) Not really much going on my way so I'm joining the ranks of quiet people i'm afraid. Off to get the rest of my christmas shopping tomorrow (after mucking out and driving lesson!) Busy days are stopping me getting bored and eatting which can only be a good thing. Anyway, I'm off. Hope everyone wellI'm through accepting limits'Cuz someone says they're soSome things I cannot changeBut till I try, I'll never know!0

Morning All,
No MrsM yesterday? Hope you're alright over there and not so slim that you've slipped down a drain and can't get out!:rotfl:
An ex collegue came in to visit us yesterday and bought some Deep Filled Luxury Mince Pies! I REALLY wanted one, but comments were made about how sad it is that I'd put "all that weight back on again" so I was too embarrassed to take oneWhen the others went off to wash their cups I sneaked one into my coat pocket which was hanging up :T At lunch time one of the more senior members of staff put her coat on to go into town and stuck her hand straight into a mince pie ~ wrong coat Frogga! Woops! They were talking about it ALL AFTERNOON , but I said nothing:shhh:
Hope you all have a good day, speak later and hope someone pulls you out of that drain MrsMSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Morning All
Didn't do too bad on meals yesterday but then I had some little cakes and chocolates as I took them to work for my birthday! Did play football for 15mins with the kids at school though but I don't think that will quite have evened it out.
Hope everyone has a good day

Am working long hours today plus a sleep-in so am taking some food with me as I'm not sure whats on the menu, also i think we're going out to lunch with 2 service users today when we take them christmas shopping. I,m taking a HM vegge quiche to have with salad or veggies and some fruit and low fat fromage frais. Will also take my HM broccoli soup out of the freezer for tomorrows lunch.
Tomorrow night we are having a tasting session at SW after the weigh-in so should be fun! my sister is making veggie spring rolls and a soy sauce dip for us to take as no time myself.
Hope MRSM is ok!
take care all xxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning ladies :santa2:
Still can't do nice posts from home, haven't a clue whymight have to get OH's techno expertise on it at the weekend......
Frogga - I'd have ignored them and had a mince pie anyway
HUGE amount of walking yesterday, I had no change for the bus so walked 40mins to the station after work then did some shopping when I got off the train and walked another 15 mins with the bags
I had a yogurt during the evening but only because OH rang to say he would be late 'cos the car was iced up and the deicer and scraper were under the sink at home  so I stayed up, poor soul was frozen.....
Today I've had muesli and soya milk for brekkie, just had a banana, I've got a humus and beetroot roll and grapes for lunch with a cereal ber and some grapes for the munchies.
Tea will be........something quick as OH is on a nightshift - I get in at 5-45 and he goes out at 6-15.......might send him to the chippy and make myself something later on.
I might go for a swim at lunchtime, if not I'll have a bit of a walk.
See you later ladies :A0 -
Morning ladies
Haven't abandoned ship... just got caught up with hubby being off work yesterday... now he has a bug so has been "bedded down" for a couple of days so is lolling around the house...throwing my routine out
Ok OK and the other thing is i have been sitting on my behind knitting14 more rows and the first scarf is done.. well apart from making the pompoms for the edges... just need to get some more wool and get started on number 2... i have become addicted :rotfl:
Am still being reasonably good... although last night i lay watching highlander and had a bar of rum n raisin choc (hubby had a couple of bits).... i enjoyed every last crumb :j and didn't feel an ounce of guilt -which is the best bit-i have now got the hang of having something if i want it and not beating myself up over it... it used to be my dads fave..old jamaican anyway.. this i have found is actualy nicer and has nuts in too.. and it was a lot cheaper but seriously yummy
Sorry frogga.... but the mince pie incident made me chuckle :rotfl: .. When she stuck in her hand and came out with a mince pie.. i would have said
" now, there is no need to sneak them out..if you wanted one you should have just had one" and sat there grinning... and i would have taken them to task over their rude comments too..you are far to gentle mrs... i would have knocked em down a peg or two and made them look silly into the bargain... then i would have taken 2 bl**dy pies
and there is no chance of me "slipping" down any drain.. unless they leave the cover off :rotfl:
By the way are you joining the "sealed pot challenge?" if you go to the thread on the debt free board and join in you can have a number too.. i know you like the competitive element too... might encourage you.. just think of opening your tin 01/12/08 :T i now have about £20 in there allready :rotfl:
Rockie... my hubby would have exactly the same problem if it wasn't for me keeping an eye on how much de-icer we have and making sure the scraper is in the car....and i don't even drive the thing out here  bet your hubby won't do it again
Morning Taplady... glad that you didn't get dragged off to the other weight loss board :T ..there would have been uproar :rotfl:
Recovering spendaholic... well done on the loss :T
JoeyEmma..well done on the weight loss :j and isn't it amazing that people would cover up the beautiful tiles.. like people kept ripping out original fireplaces and windows and now folks spend a mint putting them back in again  ... the house that we have bought ready for when hubby finishes in the army.. had what hubby thought were lovely open fires... i had to point out that they were actually gas :rotfl: he was gutted.. he wanted to burn logs etc -until i pointed out that that area is a smokeless zone..bearing in mind we come from an old mining area and that was a mining village ..it does seem a bit insane... hubby really wants to buy a bigger place, with more outdoor space and a place where he can burn logs etc -which would be lovely...but i can imagine the mortgage that would go with it
Well i have been out this morning and got a few more bits to hopefully finish off my hampers.. running out of time..we leave on monday  ..still it won't take long to whip the house back into shape... if hubby stays from under my feet  ... and then i have 2 weeks of doing - not an awful lot :rotfl: ... am planning on doing plenty of walking though..must try and keep on track..well pretty close anyway
well ladies i had better get off and get my knitting finished..how sad... do i get a prize for having my 1st xmas pressie of 2008 done before xmas 20007?
hope everyone has a good day..keep up the good work everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Afternoon all,
You deserve a prize Mrs MC...or need a straitjacket, can't decide which! How many pompoms are you putting down the sides of scarf...sounds lovely...post a pic when its finished. Poor OH, hope that he is better soon
Wasn't too bad yesterday...until just before bed-time when I discovered some roast pork, apple sauce, cauliflower in fridge...heated it and thoroughly enjoyed it...so no guilt...right!!
Frogga...I did laugh at your mince pie trick...at least the nasty people didn't cop that it was you.
Have a good day all
