Mrsmcaweber you are the queen of crafts! I love your knitting and cross stitch. It reminds me that I have a half done tapestry in a bag that needs finishing off!

Rockie4 Mmm... Pizza Hut. I love it at first but then find that I am up all night with a thirst. It must be all the salt!

Frogga Tesco at 5.30am is insanity!

Taplady I'm convinced that cars are the biggest drainer of money! Why has it been impounded?

Gym update- I joined the gym again, its a Fitness First near work, and because I work for the NHS its only £36 a month (I signed a 3 month contract instead of a 12 month, so its a little bit more expensive). Much nicer than the grotty one I looked at yesterday which was £41 and you had to pay for parking!

We've got friends coming tonight who have asked if they can buy us takeaway as we always cook. I've said yes, but now have to go through a minefield of what to order. So far today I've had porridge with raisins (used less porridge than normal to allow for the dried fruit!), and at lunch scrambled egg with mushrooms, tomatoes and a little bit of cheddar, plus 2 clementines.

Still Saturday for me as I've not been to bed..out to my oldest friend's for dinch ( if late breakfast is brunch I figure that early dinner might be dinch...better word anyone as I'm not mad about that!) Home now and sitting with shawl around my shoulders as heat has gone off and I'm too mean to turn it back on!

    Today I have eaten:

    Breakfast/lunch...liver and bacon with onion and potato;
Dinch.....salmon with sage, chilli and horseradish, large mixed salad, lasagne with cheese and chutney, small mince pie with fancy ice cream, coffee, 4 glasses wine.
    Snack...ham sandwich, no butter..just now.

Not great amount of fruit/veg...might have a pear

    Night all

    Morning All

I've lost 2lb!!! Not sure how as I've been eating all sorts this week so will probably come back and bite me on the bum next week! Only .5lb to go for my Christmas target so we'll see.

I'm going out for lunch but will probably be like a Sunday dinner so that won't be too bad and I'm normally quite full so I don't usually bother with pudding but seeing as it's my birthday I might be persuaded!:rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day

    Morning all!

Well last night I ended up having a so so night food wise. We got a curry, so I opted for a chicken kebab, and ate the grilled chicken, salad and about half of the naan. My tummy was a bit grumbly, so I didn't drink at all, until a mate tried to convince me that brandy and coke would settle it. I had one, but it didn't work much.

I'm now up and dressed and ready to go to the gym. Fun fun fun (not).

    Hi everybody,

Slept late so am just coming to at the moment, nice hot cup of coffee in hand...just had my usual breakfast of fruit and fibre with extra raisins, going to brother's at 4.30 for dinner so probably no lunch but may need supper later on, think there is some soup left so that will be fine for that.

Still trying to get this year's knitting done, so thanks MrsMC for reminding me that I will have to start again on 1st January...actually that will be baby knitting for DD2's baby due on 5th February!

    Have a good day all,
