Morning ladies
Lost that 1lb i was after to hit my christmas target of 3 st 7lbs:D ...so im happy - especially when i think about how many clementines i have snaffled...
Must be good and get back on track... although i have 23 huge navel oranges now and as i have made a dent in my new box of clementines, i have 21 of those left...lets see if the make it to Monday..i don't like their chances :rotfl: good job i have the constitution of a donkey:D
Welcome on board Rach... im sure you will shift a few lbs in time for your wedding :T
Frogga... let me have a word with hubby..he took the package to work to post it on camp ages ago.... if he has left another thing in his pidgeon hole i may kill him.. i really should know better by now...
Trust me meanmarie... those x stitches are a doddle..just takes patience... not something i am generally blessed with, but xstitch is addictive - sewing the beads on takes awhile mind... even have hubby doing them :rotfl: he loves it, because when he is doing that he can't think of anything else..so all the stresses of work vanish - although he gets his hair off, because i watch the telly and talk whislt im doing them -and he loses where he is :rotfl: -not sure how clear the pic is..but hubby did the swan and i did the tigers for hubby before we were married and he had them in his room in the block to cheer it up a bit..god it was depressing...
By xmasme
Im stopping in today ... the weather looks awfull.. think i will have a tidy up and give the kitchen a swipe...
tea is going to be the same as the last 2 days -well we have loved it so why not-salad, prawns, cottage cheese and steamed potatoes yumyum -not sure if hubby will be in yet or not..they have another works do and are supposed to be going to a chinese buffet -all they can eat for what works out at £7.00 ....so if he goes i will just do tea for myself
think i might have clementines for brekkie.... don't fancy weetabix.. oh and must get a new loaf made..
Not long to christmas now folks  where has it snook up from??? Im nearly done.. only 10 days and we will be on our way.. once hubby has managed to get everything in the car :rotfl:
Glad i haven't needed to put my bin out... just watched 2 wheely bins take off down the road..ooops... they will insist on standing them right on the kerb- they even do it right at the side of parked cars  ... heck its turning into dustbin dominoes out there :rotfl:
well i hope everyone else is ok and recovered from all the bugs that have been doing the rounds...
have a great day everyone -and keep up the good work-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
morning!:(
Not too good today, had a terrible night.DS1 was in a head on car crash last night on the way home from work. We spent half the night in casualty but he is ok, mainly seatbelt injuries. He is at home now recovering.DH and I have taken the day off to sort look after him and try and sort this terrible mess out. He'd only had the car just over a week. He was lucky to get out in one piece though so I am so thankful for that. Not sure how the other driver is or what happened yet but we did see him in casualty with a neck collar on so hopefully he is ok too.The stress played havoc with my IBS and I spent half the night on the toilet but its slightly better now.
I have forced down some muesli this mornign but I feel a bit sick.
i hope everyone is ok, will be back later.

MRSMCAWBER Well done on reaching targer- and 3 and a half weeks before Chrimbo!
Yesterday was ok, I had
B- sultana bran and skimmed milk
L- Ended up going for lunch again and having ramen and chicken skewers (grilled!)
T- Wholemeal spaghetti with tomato sauce made with half a tsp olive oil and with some grated mozzarella on top
Snacks- a clementine and 5 reduced sugar winegums.
We went out to see the Chemical Brothers last night, and I drove, so no fattening booze for me!
I've been told I should try blood pressure tablets, which I'm not keen on. I need to lose 15lbs to get a BMI of 25. I do cycle occasionally, but need to get my exercise intake up. I've looked at the gyms near me and they are all really grotty or really expensive (ie £80 a month:eek:).
On the plus side, I'm having a manicure today (at the local beauty college so it is MS!)0 -
Sending you huge hugs Taplady..and to DS and DH.... glad he got out in one piece -if rather battered n bruised... hope he recovers quickly -and that your IBS settles down..
Curl up on the sofa with a nice warm drink and let those nerves settle.... take care...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Oooohhh...Taplady... That sounds awful. Hope you feel better soon. The weather at the moment mean the roads are like a bloomin' ice skatin' rink.0

Thanks for all the kind comments.
Taplady, hope you and your family are ok.
Apparently its all booked now anyway, so looks like I'm going. Not going because of money seemed a pathetic excuseand I hated the idea that I might be the only one of her many grandchildren that didn't get there. So not sure if I'm relieved or not that someone else has kind of decided for me
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hello ladies :j
I am here but mad busy at work so will try to get on later.
:grouphug: for everyone who's suffering.
Well done to the losers
I've stayed the same this week which is a minor miracle.
Going to the pub for lunch - OOPS!!
See you later:A0 -
Morning all,
Taplady...hugs to you and all...poor DS! I had two minor accidents within a week some years ago and it was frightening...none before or since in 40 years of driving but was a bag of nerves for ages afterwards.
Weighed in this morning and have lost two pounds, so am back where I was two weeks ago!
Congratulations Mrs MC on reaching your Christmas target. Think I'll take your word on xstitch, any kits I've looked at are very expensive so won't experiment at the moment.
Good luck to all

*Hugs* to taplady and newlywed.
I'm feeling a bit rubbish today so will have to restrain myself from comfort eatting. No real reason for my mood just TOTM being horrible. I ate terribly yesterday so ended up with stomach ache last night. I did have a nice day wandering round southwold tho (despite the rain) and managed to get a couple more christmas presents so only have 3 or 4 left to get now. Oh and my post had arrived when i got home last night, horray! If I really squint at the scales I've just about lost 0.5lb this week. Determined to get back on track next week as I haven't been very good all this week.
Right, must get off as I still have three nativity sets, some jewellery and cards to get made for tomorrows sale.I'm through accepting limits'Cuz someone says they're soSome things I cannot changeBut till I try, I'll never know!0 -
Taplady, that sounds so frightening. Glad he'll be okay. Take care of yourself. xMay all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
