Frogga - Your kids actually restore my faith in the next generation!

Mum came home with fish and chips for all tonight so I couldn't exactly say no after she'd brought them. I did have more fish than chips tho which I suppose is better than nothing. Only had a spoonful of christmas pudding (sis was eatting one of those mini microwave ones) and a supposedly good for you (until you have to make it with all milk for it to actually taste like something other than cardboard!) hot chocolate since then. Early morning tomorrow so I should probably be getting off to bed soon. Waterworld is on tv tho and its one of my guilty pleasure films heehee.

Family celebration for daughter's 21st was excellent.
So too was the champagne and cake.
She's enjoying her year abroad from Uni and has met several good people in the school and town. Nice to see your children happy!!!

Other daughter came as well, but has since gone down with chest infection so is rather poorly, but on the mend.

Preparations for Christmas, not even started.
Thanks for the encouragement here and everyone have a good day, however miserable the weather is.

    Morning ladies

:T Taplady :T ... well done - look what not having that bit of cake does :rotfl: ... and i have to agree with Tyrells crisps..i love the parsnip, or root veg ones  ..yumyumyum

Kittyscarlett.. hope things get sorted out at work soon... you have one heck of a stressfull job.... but you are probably right getting stressed and eating not so good is probably making you even more stressed and pee'd off ...an so the circle goes..round n round.. but you have the problem of having to grab something -anything that you can just shove down before someone interupts you

Juliejim.... thats one way to stop you eating your triffle :rotfl: bit drastic..but it worked :D

That's it meanmarie..keep that frog in line-i think there is only you can do it..we try, but you know what she is like ;) ...

morning frogga... what a lovely little tadpole you have..well 2 tadpoles.. hope all is well with you and your little brood...

I want to get out for a wander..but i just KNOW that when i do it is going to pee on me  ..decissions decissions:confused: ...

Well i have started sorting out my stuff to do for next year  .... im trying to think of stuff that has to be home made.. hubby and brothers are going to be dufficult.. but then clicked..i got a x stitch pattern of Carl Fogarty -world superbike champion and hubbies GOD :p ...so im going to try and get that done whilst he is at work and golfing :T we allready have a couple of stunning pics of him on stairs/hall... so hubby would be thrilled and will think of a couple of other bits for him  .. and im going to get the pattern out and check what threads i need..i have loads filed away so hopefully it will cost next to nothing :j ...
and i got the one below as i fell in love, then decided it was so much more my mums thing.. was going to give her the kit to do (once i had sorted the threads for her) but she has a back log of her own to do..so think i will do it for her... better get my bum into gear in the new year as its complete stitch

so thats the 2 most important people in my life... nieces are getting funky scarves n bags and perhaps some jewellery....in fact so will both sisters :p anyone got a spare pair of hands :rotfl: ..that just leaves 2 brothers and numerous BIL/SIL to deal with  guess i could make SILs jewellery  or i had the idea of decorating big church candles - i have loads of beads from jewellery making..so i could either use fine pins to secure them or wire to make coils that go around and can be removed before burning.... oohhh i have all these ideas..putting them into practice may be a whole different ball game :rotfl:

Guess im going to be busy next year...so please feel free to keep checking that i have my bum into gear folks :p ...

Well i haven't had my brekkie yet..but i realy don't feel like it yet..will get it eventually :D
Ok the rain has started  ..so that has knocked having a walk to "real" for some fresh air...could have had a look at what wool the y had too hmm may have to grab a brolly and brave it :p ..then i could make a start ..

well i hope everyone has a good day...looks like we are about recovered from all the bugs n stuff :T

keep up the good work everyone..off to do some more pondering about pressies :rotfl:

    Morning all!

HgBels Thanks for the tip, although I'm not sure I can do that scheme at my doctors. Plus I can never get an appointment when I'm actually dying!

Frogga- Thats a good idea, although knowing me I'd put that £18 a month into a kitty to buy a breadmaker and put all my weight back on once I reached target! I should join in with some weight loss scheme.

Today I have an annual check up at the hospital, which means getting on the scales and seeing how much weight I've actually put on in a year. Crikey!

I've got my brother over for tea and we're all going out to a gig tonight, and I've not planned anything at all for tea. I probably won't get back home til about 6.30ish and its going to be a rush job. I kind of want to get him jerk chicken rice and peas from the local takeaway, but the best thing about that is the chicken skin. I do have mozzarella in the fridge so might whip up some pasta instead.

    Morning ladies:santa2:
Still can't get on from home, I can read but not post for some reason and the site takes aaaaaages to load:mad:
Last night was okish.....had a butternut and pecan roast (asda) with sweet potato mash and cabbage and leek braised in orange juice followed by a yoghurt.
I had a glass of wine and a bag of snakajacks then had the urge to raid the bread bin.....not hungry at all but NEEDED bread and butter IYKWIM, only had one slice though.
Got the car today so I came in early and went for a swim before work :T I had a slice of toast before I left and brought 2 with me for my 'proper' brekkie.
Just had a banana and an oat biscuit, lunch is a humus and beetroot wrap with salad which I'll have after my belly dancing class.
Not sure about tea, OH is at home today and I meant to get a veggie casserole out of the freezer but forgot:doh: so I'll decide when I get home I think.

Frogga - your kids are brilliant!

Kitty - try to keep calm, aromatherapy oils in a burner are very helpful....parsnip and beetrot crisps:drool:

Alibow - I'm glad our chippy is rubbish!

Taplady - welll done!! :T I like SW!

Everyone else keep your chin(s) up!! We can do this!!!!:A

Aww Frogga! Your tadpoles amaze me!!

    Today:
    B: strawberry crunch cereal, water
L: TINY (and I mean tiny) amount of leftover HM Chicken Jalfrezi w/ a bit of rice, chopped carrot (HUGE carrot) and a Ski low fat yoghurt
D: Beef Casserole, which is hopefully bubbling away in the slow cooker

I really really really wanted to make myself some tuna sandwhiches for lunch, but figured I should use up the leftovers first. Darn.

    Morning all,

Am meant to be taking the stuff out of my present cupboard to see how much more stuff I need for Christmas presents, but have been dragged on here by some evil demon...probably Frogga ...how dare you talk about my age in public Miss Frog???

Had the chicken sandwich I promised myself last night but have stopped having butter over the last few days so it wasn't as sinful as it could have been.

Mrs MC...wondered why you were still coming up with present ideas for your family as I thought that you were almost done until I realised that you were talking about 2008...I have never come across such a fertile imagination...if you can achieve half of your ideas you can do everybody's gift lists and make a fortune!

Sugarfree muesli with dates, raisins, pumpkin seeds and milk, coffee for breakfast, hm soup made from remains of yesterday's dinner for lunch and pork chops, mashed carrot and parsnip with sauted potatoes for dinner...not sure about snacks.

    Have a good day all
