Morning everyone... weekend was a bit bad, really, and was off work yesterday and had a Subway sub (6 inch, could have been worse) for lunch and a gorgeously cheesy HM lasagne for dinner (could have eaten less). Friday = lots of wine with dinner. Saturday = more wine and 2 glasses of Leffe in pub. Sunday = met an old relative i've not seen in years, was nervous, 5 JD and diet cokes, couple of glasses of wine. Roast dinner. Soup. I definitely ate a packet of Skips at some point too.

Feel quite ashamed of myself really. Its certainly alcohol that lets me down. I did think that I drank too much at work events / gigs (as I work in the music industry) but it seems to be habit for me to drink at home also (admitedly only at weekends, but still).

    So anyway, moving on. Today:
Breakfast: Strawberry crunch cereal w/ semi skimmed, Earl Grey, Cranberry juice
Lunch: tin of soup (need to make some more HM), Ski low fat yoghurt
    Dinner: Fish, veg, new potatoes
    Desert: pineapple and yoghurt

Hope you're all well and smiley xx

Christmas is coming, the [STRIKE]goose[/STRIKE] I'm getting fat.......

Gone a little haywire this week, daughter ill with pneumonia (getting better) and nephew and partner staying. However they are enjoying the home-made meals, but I'm not keeping to portion sizes, plus M.E. is rearing its head. OOps

However I'm back on track today, and that is what counts.

Frogga- I would have been tempted to reply "yes, well I can loose the weight again, but you'll always be a b!tch" or something childish like that. Actually, I would have probably thought about it but not dared to say it!

Mrsmcawber On second inspection, the majority of the tiles are cracked, chipped or scuffed. I looked at finding replacement tiles, but they don't really make reproduction patterened tiles! We are in a smokeless zone, but we are going to get smokeless coal and I'm sure if the odd log that we find in the park ends up on the fire, nobody will mind!

Taplady You mentioned service users. Do you work in mental health, learning disabilities or something similar? I'm an RMN

We've got 2 groggy kittens with collars on, who have just been neutered. They keep falling over- they look like they've been on the booze!

    Food wise
B- Sultana Bran with skimmed milk
L- Salad in a cafe, with grilled chicken and grilled haloumi.
    T- Pasta bake with mozzarella
Snacks- a palmful of chocolate drops, some sugar free jelly with frozen summer fruits, a couple of satsumas.
Exercise- Managed a whole spin class (45 minute one though, I think I would DIE if I did an hour)

Evening ladies!Thoroughly enjoyed the lunchtime swim today, even managed to knock a minute off my usual time. I was unbelievably hungry in the afternoon though, perhaps as well I had the car today or I'd have been in the first shop for chocolate!Had butternut and pecan roast (asda) with potatoes and leek cooked in milk (bit of cheese on the top) and carrots and parsnips, followed by a yogurt.MrsM - OH now has the required deicer, cloths and scrapers in the car - I needed them this morning! Hope your hubby recovers soon and gets out from under your feet!JoeyEmma - kittens!!!!! I love cats, only got the one old lady at the moment who rules the roost.OH is on a night shift tonight so I'm planning a bath and an early night, see you tomorrow girls!

Morning all! Its only tuesday/wednesday and I'm already knackered this week. Today has been utterly hectic. Slipped and slided my way up the still icey hill to muck out this morning then speed walked back down (not easy in wellies). Just about managed to get clean and shove a bowl of couscous in my face before my driving instructor turned up. Finish my 2 hour lesson in town rather than at home, rushed to the bank before it closed then to the loo which made me miss the train which I had to walk out of town to get! Stood around at the station for 40minutes till the next one came in the freezing cold. Twenty minute walk from that station to shopping mall to meet my friend who had been there ages and done everything she wanted to do so didn't want to walk round again so I hardly got any shopping done  Then got a stupidly expensive taxi to the cinema, went to chiquitos for dinner (grilled chicken and veg quesdilla and rice) then too the cinema where I treated myself to a sundae  The film was great but now I've finally got home (after more trains and lovely mum picking me up) and I'm knackered! Tomorrow I have job centre, then mucking out, then dentist! Going to require some serious willpower to get me out of bed in the morning. Oh well at least with all this running around (and not having time to snack) I'll hopefully have a good loss on friday.

Frogga - Your mince pie story cracked me up. Personally I think i would have gone for the playground favourite of "I'm fat, you're ugly. At least I can loose weight!" Talking of strange things in pockets, you've reminded me of years ago when my mum went to pull what she thought was a tissue out of her pocket in the middle of the shopping centre and came up with a pair of my sisters knickers instead :rotfl:

MrsM - You're inspiring me to knit. My grandma taught me how to years ago but I can't remember any of it.

Off to bed now. Night :hello:
