I wonder why ?

    Morning everyone!

Just weighed myself and i've put on a pound :( BOO. Feel bad as ate some chili flavoured crisps last night and dinner tonight is baked camembert! Nice and artery clogging. Oh well, i'm not wasting yummy food so tough! OH's payday today so will get some extra fruit in on the weekend.

Not entirely sure what to do with today, its another day off. House is clean, washing nearly all done. Mmm.. x

Bobadog ~ Don't stress about the 1lb , it's only one little one ;) If I were you , I would put my feet up today and make the most of a day off before all the chaos starts!

    Morning everyone

Nice to see loads of us back :T .....

Well i lost 1lb this week :D which is about as miraculous (sp) as the virgin birth :p .... especially as someone had a Gyros for dinner last night :o well we went out to get the crates of beer to take back for xmas.. and someone couldn't be a*sed to faff about cooking when she got back  ... but as of this moment i WILL get my bum back into gear...weetabix -here i come :rotfl:

Im still gonna be sitting on my bum knitting today :shhh: .. as i have decided that im not gonna whizz through the house until Sunday..as hubby will be out golfing and i will get it fettled from top to bottom in a couple of hours.. thats my reasoning -and im sticking to it, anyway if i get my behind into gear i might get my 2nd scarf finished today..or tomorrow at the latest :j -going to get more wool whilst im back in the UK.. Im determined to be so organised this year... sorry - next year :D

Meanmarie.. i used to have some lovely lights outside in the UK-until the magpies pinched all the shiney shades :rotfl: but next door has had hers out and they stay on all day, and right through the night  you can imagine how tempted i have been to rattle on the door and tell her to turn the ruddy things off in day light and over night :rotfl: although im waiting for the whole lot to blow as we all have electric sockets in a box on the back garden and she has run a couple of extension leads from hers and up the side of her house.. no covered sockets or anything  .. so i will "bah humbug" with you :p

Nice to see you back HelsBells :T

Don't worry Keiss, i think we have all had various problems getting on the site at some point over the last few weeks...
Handwashing at this time of year  ..... we had realy hard water when we were in suffolk bleughhhh... do you use calgon in your washer? we had to -but luckily we had got loads of boxes when we were in Germany last, as you can get a decent sized box of powder here... in fact im still using my supplies... over 4 years later :p

Recovering spendaholic... hope you TOTM settles down for you soon - must make you feel really cr*ppy. Hopefully losing a bit of weight will help a little, i know i get off lightly anyway - the only thing i get is a pain behind my shoulder blade (god knows why:rotfl: ) but as i have lost weight i find it getting easier -hope its the same for you...

Alibow... Glad Grandma is a bit better..... and you are right - my mamma is the same..we know when she is proper poorley -as she stops grumping ;)

My sister in law has a horse-and they scare the hell out of me :rotfl: I love to see horses running free, but have a thing about them being ridden -even though i know they enjoy it...
cats n horses -make me shudder.. i have now probably upset nearly everyone on here :o .... can cope with Kittens -just - but cats give me the Heeby jeebies

Frogga.. i don't need the PC to turn my ramblings into drivel..i do it all myself :D
Morning Mrs... glad all is well with you - after mincepie gate :rotfl: there have been several times i have been sat here and suddenly found myself chuckling about it :p .....
Haven't seen you post on the sealed pot challenge yet.... go on, you know you want to :p

Not long now ladies and all the running round will be done... i love it when its all done and you can sit there on xmas eve knowing that panicing won't help as the shops have shut
Last year i ordered everything foody on line..was big n brave and thought i would give it a go, as i knew i had stuff i could knock a decent meal up with if anything went wrong..it was bliss... i had 2 huge fresh meat deliveries arrive on the 23rd and then at 9pm at night on the same day my Tesco order arrived... god it was heaven..
I intend doing the same when we return to the UK....

Then its just getting rid of any remaining goodies and then we can all get back on the straight n narrow :D

well i had better get back to my knitting..hope eveyone is missing is OK..sending hugs to all those in need....:D

    Thanks Frogga :D

Im sure there is a bad week lurking somewhere.. just waiting to pounce when im not paying attention :p

The lady running the sealed pot challenge is having to take things easy at the moment, as she is expecting and had a bit of a scare the other week.. if you stick a post on the bottom of the thread im sure you will get a number... how much are you going for??? or are you going for the "fill the pot" approach?
I have gone for 750euros..but hoping for better - although i will still be running my other tins too..so heck knows what i will end up with..
Mind as im planning on making as many pressies as possible -im not sure what i will spend it on  ... hmm sure i will think of something... i am going to be tighter than a ducks b*m next year :rotfl:

    Morning ladies:rudolf:
On here early as boss is out again :rotfl:

Weighed in theis morning and stayed the same which I'm quite pleased about :D I had the pasta last night - Asda's low fat pesto is disgusting, I think it's probably better to have the fullfat stuff and use less of it. Had a bread roll with butter for supper  I wasn't hungry but had it anyway

Toast and marmalade for brekkie, I've got a muffin for my break as we're out for our Christmas curry this afternoon but won't be eating until about 3 and I'll have fainted by then if I don't eat something... dread to think what else I'll consume today, I won't drink too much as I've got to get home on the train/walking and it's not worth risking.

Well done to everyone who's lost/stayed the same :T :T and bobadog - it's a blip, you're still a lot less than you were and at this time of year that's fantastic :T

RS - congrats to your daughter, medical places are like hen's teeth so she's done really well to be offered one!

Froga - 18weeks?????? I used to be term time only in a school when my kids were little, the jump to full time took a bit of getting used to, I'm at a uni but I'm full time and busier when there's no teaching going on  but I finish next Friday for 2 whole weeks :T and can't wait :T

    See you later ladies:A

PS At least the site's working from here, it's got to be my home 'puter that's causing the problems.
