    Morning ladies

thank heavens we are back on line:j ..getting withdrawal symtoms there :p

right before i forget...here is that recipe for the Autumn slice off of mum

    AUTUMN SLICE-SERVES 12 @ 2.5 WW points -a piece is about 3"x2"
    1. 100g low fat spread (make sure its suitable for baking)
    2. 100g caster sugar
    3. 2 eggs beaten with 2tsp vanilla flavouring
    4. 125g SR flour
    5. 1tsp ground cinnamon
    6. 25g ground almonds
    7. 6 firm plums - cut in half and stones removed
    • preheat the oven to gas 4/ 180c /160 fan
    • line a 10"X8" brownie tin
    1. cream the low fat marge and sugar until light n fluffy
    2. beat in the eggs a little at a time
    3. sieve in the flour, almonds, cinnamon and fold in gently
    4. tip into the prepared tin and spread evenly
    5. place the plums on top of the sponge and -cut side down -in rows 3X4
    6. and bake for 35-40mins until risen and firm to the touch -the sponge will rise up around the fruit.
    7. cool slightly and then remove from tin and cool.
Mum has made several of these and they don't seem to last very long apparently :p ..everyone reckons they are lovely..including my mama who is soooooooo difficult to please ;)
The last one mum did..she used tinned apricot halves drained well and she reckoned it was lovely... so im sure you could use all sorts of other fruits..

Well it stopped snowing and is now looking realy clear out there... I have a doctors appointment at 2:40 so hubby is going to pick me up and drop me off there... and then as long as its not really awful weather..im going to walk back  ....

Madsmum ..:T on getting to the gym... can imagine walking in awful weather with a little one might be verrrry difficult :rotfl:

Morning frogga :D .... im ignoring the xmas food...:silenced: .... have none in the house -well apart from my hampers..and that stuff "isn't mine" so im not eating it ;) .... i don't have to buy or make any xmas food this year... im leaving here on the 17th dec... to bil and sil for a couple of days ... that might be a test..but i will take some stuff with me ;) then on to my 2nd home :p and mum knows im eating healthily and she always has good healthy stuff in. Think as an extra sneaky way of dealing with it.... my birthday is not until the 22nd Dec...so im not going to indulge in ANY xmas foods until AFTER my birthday ;) ......think i will enjoy a little bit more that way....

Heck I only have 4 weeks left after this weeks weigh in  ....:j more exercise needed :rotfl: must shift this 12lbs :j :j :j
have then decided that I will set more targets...
    1. valentines day...will be 7 weeks away after new year
    2. hubbys birthday 17 weeks after that -could do with a target between 1 n 2 :p
    3. our anniversary 6 weeks after that -and that will be almost 1 year from the date i started this "healthy eating" on here ;)
    4. and then we are back to xmas time
Im sure someone will think of other dates i have missed

well folks i hope we are all well..im off to get my weetabix..and then going to have a soak :D

keep up the good work everyone

Newday ~ MrsM rekons it's all about "sensible food choices" and "portion sizes" ?

I don't believe a word of it ~ I rekon there's alot of the "horizontal tango" going on!:D

    HELLO LADIES

Oh Bum.. i was hoping frogga hadn't noticed MSE was back up n running ;) .. still i guess it saves me having to talk to her on my own -you guys can share the hassel with me now:rotfl: :rotfl:
howdy doody frogga  and you are sooooo rude ;)

thank heavens we are up n running again... they can't leave us on our own can they ;) ....
well i went to the doctors and made myself walk back..rather enjoyed it again .. this time there was no rain  .... so thats another 45mins of walking crossed off my "to do" list this week :T ..heck i think i have been taken over by aliens ..all this exercise.... i get quite grouchy if i can't get out for a walk :rotfl:
by the way, the doctor fully approves of the weight loss and the way im doing it... apparently he wishes more folks would do it..and stop asking him for tablets, and stop all the "quick fix" solutions...

Hi there Newday..thankyou...i still have loads more to shift..but its going :D

Most brekkies are weetabix (have developed and obsession:o ).. with semi milk and 1/2tsp of sugar... or a couple of slices of HM bread -toasted with butter

lunches are ryvitas/crispbreads with low fat cream cheese or pate...
or Hm soups and sometimes HM cheese n potato flan n beans etc

    dinners are :-
liver casserole, roast chicken dinners, hm steak pie, corned beef hasn n dumplings etc...

I have found that by having "normal" sized portions or "normal" food i don't crave anthing....

I do make "swaps".. so if im doing a pie i have plenty of veg but no potatoes etc
Chicken dinners i will do potatoes, hm stuffing or yorkies not all 3 :p
and if i get hungry in between..which doesn't happen very often now. i have yoghurt, fruit or sugarfree jelly.... the longer it goes.. the less i fancy things inbetween meals....
I think that the best thing i can suggest is to think of it as a long term healthy eating campaign..not a "diet"... it takes all the pressure off if you can convince yourself that you are just "going to make sensible choices for today" it doesn't seem so depressing...

Well i hope everyone is well.. will catch up with the comings n goings later..once everyone has realised its up n running again :D

keep up the good work folks

Cor.. hark at this bossy moo!!! :p

I bought fruit.. but while I was in there I bought some biscuits for the childrens packed lunch... :D .. I got apples .. which I can't eat as they bring me out in a rash, bananas which I can't eat as they upset my poor delicate tummy and satsumas.. of which I got one.. oh.. and grapes which I can eat about 4 before I get a tummy ache

    Today I've had..

no breakfast.. I was busy flying!! .. and tomorrow I am at school until 11am so won't get any then either.

Elevenses!! (ie lunch) corned beef hash.. the last portion.. one slice of HM bread and 2 Fox's triple's

Dinner tonight was .. 7 potato fritters, half a tin of beans.. and 2 small fish portions (equal to about 4 fish fingers)

Pigpen - when I come to visit I'll bring lots of fruit with me!

I've been good again today although I've had hardly any tea and just had a scone! Bashed my car on the way home from work but at least I haven't gone running for the chocolate - yet!

    Hope you are all well
