Breakfast was 3 phone calls and 2 cuppas!!

Lunch I'll find some corned beef hash from the freezer

Tonight we are having spaggy bol.. and I am almost convinced to make a cake or 2.. I need to make bread bombs for the childrens pack ups tomorrow so the oven will be on anyway and one cake will do their lunches and the other we can have after tea.

    Morning all,

Feeling carp this morning, have spoken to doc and I am to go back on full medication for two weeks to see how I go, had to eat to take tablet as early as possible, so had a roll and butter and two mugs of coffee. Feeling slightly more human now.

For lunch I plan on having some of the soup I made yesterday with whatever sandwich OH makes...it will be his breakfast as he doesn't eat until he's been up for a couple of hours...hate him really as he will have good helping of whatever, good dinner around 3-4 if he has his way, two bottles of wine and stays under 10 stone no problem...I know that he is only 5ft 6 but....

Dinner will be the last of the chicken stir fry for me and various bits from freezer for others, as I'm determined to empty at least one freezer before end of November and think that getting rid of single portions first might be best way to go.

Good eating to all today...hot as possible if its as cold where you are as it is here

    Morning all

My first day in my new job went well and I resisted the biscuits in the staffroom and just had an apple at breaktime and my sandwiches at lunchtime.:D

However, my car wouldn't start in the morning so I had to walk the kids to school (good job I'd got a later start as it was my first day) so that was my exercise for the day!

    Hope everyone's well

Pigpen - go and buy some fruit!

    Catch you later

Morning ladies! :j Nice to have the forum back!:j
Not a bad day yesterday (foodwise) I did the glamorgan sausages with spuds and onions cooked in stock with a bit of cheese on top and broad beans - scrummy! :D Had a yoghurt for pud then a small glass of wine in the evening.
Today, I've had muesli for brekkie, I've got a cheese and beetroot roll for lunch with grapes for after- I love cheese and I've found that if I use a strong one I only need a little bit to satisfy the cheese monster in me!:D
I've got my usual lowfat crisps and a cereal bar to keep me going on the journey home.
Tea - not sure yet, might be something with eggs or a beany stew if I feel like cooking........

Have a nice day one and all!:A :A

Meanmarie - try steam inhalations with a bit of Olbas oil or menthol crystals - works for me!

    Good morning ladies

You have all been busy losing and trying to lose at the weekend - congratulations!

My walking weekend in the Yorkshire dales was somewhat spoiled by rain and cold but walk we did and when the going got touch I got to walk to lots of lovely teashops in those lovely little places like Settle and Dent. Just had to sample the cream teas! Herbal tea just doesn't do it for me. Lovely....

Got a shock when i came home and found the forum down - had a picture of us all running amok trying maddly not to gorge.

I have the rest of the week off and intend to be active, domestic and healthy. Made a lovely aubergine and sweet potato spicy stew yesterday and had it with a spoonful of cous-cous for dinner. Was hungry 2 hours later and scoffed 4 slices of HM bread! I do find I get hungry very quickly after a veggie meal, meat or fish keeps me fuelled longer. Looking at peppered mackeral for dinner tonight.

MrsM - you are so lucky it is snowing, I just love snow, being wrapped up like an eskimo and trotting off into a pure white landscape.

Raining and freezing here. I'm off to pick my car up (MOT time) and will contemplate Brassie beach.

    See you all later!
