Well done you losers!!!!
I've lost 3 lbs, I'm pleased but not ecstatic as it's the 3lbs I put on the other week so I'm back to where I was
Tummy's a bit 'offy' today  so I've had a bit of toast and I've brought pasta salad for lunch. I've got a cereal bar and a pack of Nairns crisps for later.
I'm supposed to be going out after work  but I will only have one drink as I've got to get myself home on public transport - OH usually picks me up but new jobby means he's working until 10pm and I'd be asleep under a table by then :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm not sure about my tea, if the others are eating out I might join them - I'll be good - honest;) otherwise I'll have a jacket and something when I get in.
Have a good day girls!

Wow Mrs M that's an amazing loss!! :T What an inspiration, really makes me realise I need to get my head down and really get stuck into this if I want to lose some weight by Christmas.
OH and I are going to my mothers for tea tonight and she has a reputation for rich food so I'll try and stick to more of the good things and less of the bad.
Tomorrow I'm going to go to the fruit & veg wholesalers and get a nice variety of veg, we've become stuck in a rut lately, buying the same things week in & week out so that needs to change. I'm also going to go to the health food shop and buy a variety of dried pulses, need to eat more beans. And I'm going to the local butchers this afternoon to stock up on chicken; staple part of my healthy eating plans & really reasonably priced from the butcher in the village.
So that's my plan for this weekend. Phew, I need a biscuit now!0 -
I know how you feel, Cazz - i just cleaned out our biscuit barrel and really REALLY had to ignore the broken up chocolate chip cookies. 1/4 may have fell in my mouth by accident though0

Morning!
well done to MRSMCAWBER, BOBADOG ROCKIE4 and everyone else who has lost or is trying hard to!:T
Had a lot of temptation yesterday, Mum took me our for coffee and offered me scone with butter and jam:eek: but i declined:Athen I had to pop to our local corner shop and I picked up a small bar of chocolate, had a little battle with that voice in my head and put it back then picked another one up but managed to put it back:A so I left the shop quickly before I could change my mind, I'd been so good all day I didn't want to blow it last thing then spend all night regretting it!
My best mate who goes to WW phoned last night, she hadn't been for 3 weeks for various reasons and went back last night to find she'd put on 11 pounds:eek:   she was gutted and has vowed to get back on track immediately!
breakfast - muesli with banana
snack - grapes
lunch - bacon sarnie(using George foreman grill) with lovely seeded bread, may make it into a BLT!
dinner - small slice veggie pizza(extra veggies on top) salad and a few oven chips(handful)
snack - fruit - fancy getting some mango
Hope you all have a good day!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Well done to everyone who has lost! :j
Turbogran - that made me laugh thanks!
My reason for starting to lose weight was the fact that only 2 skirts fitted out of my whole wardrobe (huge one at that). I had loads of clothes that even if I could squish into, needed a top down to my knees to look ok and cover the bulges! Not to mention having no bras that fitted - can't be doing with the 4 boob look where it all bulges over the top where the bra digs in. Just before our first wedding anniversary I went undies shopping and ended up so very depressed and came back with nothingThat was the final straw.
I'm getting there slowly and now those 2 skirts are TOO BIG!!! :j
I can wear my smart trousers and they don't feel like they'll split at the seams anymore!
Got some more to go yet to fit into the rest (and am nearly in my "healthy" BMI range now). Slowly but surely it's coming off. It took 15 months for a stone to go on and has only taken me 4 months to get rid of that bit - half a pound of that stone left to go - and then a bit more to get rid ofworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Bobbadog - I always pinch the broken/soft biscuits from the barrel at work which would otherwise go in the bin, I make tiffin traybake out of them and hand them out to the family, they LOVE it, I make sure the broken biscuits don't get wasted, it gives me the chance to bake something (which I love doing), and it saves me from scoffing them myself!
Job's a goodun.

You are an inspiration to us all.
I,m going for a brisk walk now after my fruit salad brekkie, keeps me out of temptations way (mind you my idea of 'brisk' is slightly more than a snails pace)hopefully I'll speed up as the pounds come off. What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
Well done MrsM and bobbadog, thats great news :T
rockie - think about it - you're not actually back to where you were, that really would have been with the 3lb put on again ! you did well
I'd typed out a big long post and then lost it when my PC freaked outgood morning everyone, yes it is blinking cold - but at least its bright and sunny so more inspiring to be active
wish I wasn't working as even though sleepy I'm itching to go out for a nice long walk in the sunshine.
Pretty tired as stayed up late last night keeping a friend company online. I don't mind too much though as have got whole weekend off as a/l from weekend job. No plans, just relaxingGoing to be indulgent with food too - and by that I don't mean pig out, just relaxed also - make up for all those weekend mornings when I can't have a decent breakfast or lunch in peace cos of work ! so will have a cooked breakfast at some point ( can't say fry up as everything apart from the egg goes in the oven anyway ) and probably a roast dinner of some sort. I've accepted in advance that yes I am going to eat some crisps and chocolate, but in moderation, and I've got loads of cut up raw veggies to snack on too.

Morning ladies (any men here?)
Well done MRSMC, Bobbadog and Rockie4- a 3lb loss is a3lb loss and takes some doing in a week :T
I love this thread..it's so funny!:rotfl:
I've switched my morning museli for a scrambled egg in wholemeal bread...seems to keep me fuller for longer then I have my museli for lunch! Today I have dried apricots for snacking and tomato pasta for tea.
We're taking kids to Alton Towers Halloween spectacular tomorrow (Free with the sun:money: ) so I'm making a healthy picnic tonight. can't wait!
I'd love to have lost just 1lb this week as I can't say it's been gruelling. I have noticed that I experience real hunger and enjoy it! I'm sure it's natural to feel hungry before a meal!
Next week I need to get tougher and concentrate on exercise.
be good!0 -
