black-saturn-I'd heard the Mcd's salads were worse than Big Mac, but I never knew whether it was true. As far as having the Big Mac...at lease the salad had green stuff in right? Counts towards the 5-a-day.
I had sausage casserole for dinner, twas yummy.
Mrs M....I'll certainly take some of that lembass bread...wish my dvd player hadn't broken as I'd watch LOTR again.

Evening all
As predicted.... dinner was yummy - and i was even carefull not to shovel it down -something i had a habbit of doing before...if i got hungry... my food wouldn't touch the sides and i would stuff loads down without giving my body time to say it was full.... I have also plated up an extra dinner..guess what im having for lunch tomorrow...
Got the batch of chicken and sweetcorn soup done.. so have put 2 flasks worth in the freezer and one straight into the jug and hubby will nuke it in the morning whilst making his coffee...
Kittyscarlett.... i remember us kids fighting for the cabbage cog whenever mum was in the kitchen..and like you.. i prefer it to the cabbage leaves.. just as i like the stalk of the broccoli more than the trees..
I do have some lower fat stuff... like you i prefer the cream cheese, and i have 1.5% fat milk here... its not skimmed but i don't think its as high as semi... can only drink full fat milk on its own not in tea..but it makes me thirsty. But i have to have butter..can't stand low fat stuff that makes toast all wet ...
And i rarely fry things... the odd thing is -i never have  .....
I can't believe folks don't turn up when you are giving them things  I had the same when i was getting rid of loads of stuff on freecycle.. although i had one lovely couple who were very into going back to nature, cooking, growing things from scratch etc.. and i gave them loads.. they made 3 journeys with a trailer... and all because they were lovely the first time they collected something.... i would be prone to re-list the bread machine... just for them having no manners...
Rockie.. im more psychotic than psychic :rotfl: .... don't blame you for changing to train if it gets you home that much earlier.... just think-you won't be so pooped that you end up wanting take aways etc... so it might not end up costing you that much more - plus extra walking :T
Black saturn
I have been duped like that before.... having a salad and then reading that i may as well have had a full blown meal  - i loved the chicken n bacon salad a lot of pubs like Yates do... even without dressing the cals were amazing...
Thing is i would prefer the salad ...
Mousey mousey.. my mum always maintains that you didn't see many fat folks when she was little... a combination of no convenience food and not many labour saving appliances as far as she is concerned.... which is why i now scrub the carpets, clean the windows etc so much moreand a lot of what i cook are meals my mum used to have back then.. savoury meat roll (only i pie it)... breast of lamb etc
Well done on the size 18 :T - it will be quite a while until i get there.. but im going to wash and fold my clothes as they get too big and bag them into the loft and hopefully ebay them when i get back to the UK.... its a little annoying as i had ALL new clothes to go to kefalonia in June and for coming here.. mainly from evans some of which are now too big and i have worn them once  ... i got 3 stunning tops from a catologue all the same mock wrap style in cream/gold and taupe but with mother of pearl shell bits along the neckline.. should have been £39.99:eek: and i got them for £14.99 and have worn them once.. but they will all go ..so there is no "fall back" clothes for if i put a bit back on..
This is it.. tomorrow is a whole new day... don't let that little blip put you off - you will be fine
Toonie - we have all 3 films all 3 extended films too.. i love that film- Viggo mortensen, sean bean and orlando bloom (only as legolass mind)... make it worth watching even if you don't like the film
.... we must watch ours every month
Well folks thats about it for me..... its 22:50 so im off to the land of nod soon.. have a good evening..and good luck to those of you weighing in tomorrow
Hello frogga..... hope everything is ok-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

 How about these as reasons for losing weight?
I want to be able to go into the 'Ladies' without my bott' hanging over onto the disposal bins that always seem to get me!
Another is that I want to be able to buy cheap tights, the bigger sizes are usualy more expensive or have less in the packet,I know Aldi sell some but sometimes what's in the packet isn't what it says on the front,I have had a few arguements with them on this, also only two colour/syle options.
I want to be able to buy a nice trendy pair of boots (I once went into a shoe shop but couldn't find any to fit my calves, the assistant shouted up to the stockroom "have we got any wider boots for a lady with fat legs" I could have died! needless to say I didn't buy anything from there then or ever again.
I want to be able to wear the smaller things I have got in the spare wardrobe that I have been hanging onto in the hope that I would eventually get slimmer (I think most of them have come back in fashion now).
Last but not least I WANT TO FEEL HEALTHIER.
Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow Mrs Mc'What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -

Morning everyone! Hope you've all woken up to a lovely day (It's COLD here in London!)
Is my weigh day today and have lost 1.3kg, so total weight loss since I started this is 5.5kg / 12 pounds. Am happy.... BUT last night OH and I ate out for his best friends Birthday (a 2 for £7 pub meal - I had the veggie 5 bean chilli which was apparently less than 5% fat) and I drank rather too many gin and diet tonics... I feel dirty inside.
Intend to be halo-tastic today and do the house top to bottom and make a gorgeous soup (edible soup will do, really!) Have a fab day everyone x0 -

Morning all
I did it... not sure how - but  3.5lbs off:dance:... so thats my first 2st gone-in 10 weeks  -just waving it goodbye :rotfl:
I know i have been doing pretty much the same thing for the last 10 weeks - but with it being TTOTM..was't expecting to lose that much - someone up there is being nice to me
So i have now officially lost 10% of my body weight ..which should be having health effects... and it is... my joints have stopped aching, im sleeping so much better - down to my body not aching under the extra weight i think and the lack of junk in my system causing confussion with all my bodies functions....
Turbogran.... you made me laugh.... those were things i hadn't thought of..but im with you on most of them :rotfl: .. i have calf muscles like a russian shot putter (male not female)..and trying to get boots that fasten - and don't cost the price of a small family car is a nightmare....
Have to say had they yelled that about me i would have pulled them up over it..and complained to head office..
I remember once walking past some lads and one happened to say "look at the size of you" to which my response was " well im on a diet to do something about it" -"what are you going to do about having a face like the back end of a tram crash and the personality of a sea slug?" - he was lost for words, and his mates were hysterical.. and i carried on walking on to the sound of his mates cheering and applauding me :rotfl:
The toilet thing :rotfl: ..don't forget those wonderful cubicles where you have to almost straddle the loo to get the door shut...
Morning frogga - thanks for the PM.. have PM'd you back.... hope you have a good day
Well i will be having my toast soon -
lunch is a chicken dinner i put out last night :T
And dinner is HM sausages, yorkshires, veggies and onion gravy mmmmmm

Hope everyone weighing in gets good news...

Well done you losers!!!!
I've lost 3 lbs, I'm pleased but not ecstatic as it's the 3lbs I put on the other week so I'm back to where I was
Tummy's a bit 'offy' today  so I've had a bit of toast and I've brought pasta salad for lunch. I've got a cereal bar and a pack of Nairns crisps for later.
I'm supposed to be going out after work  but I will only have one drink as I've got to get myself home on public transport - OH usually picks me up but new jobby means he's working until 10pm and I'd be asleep under a table by then :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm not sure about my tea, if the others are eating out I might join them - I'll be good - honest;) otherwise I'll have a jacket and something when I get in.
