I haven't posted for a couple of months as it's been a bit hectic and seem to have kept putting off sitting down and working everything out!

May ended up being a better month than expected with savings of 575.91 however June wasn't so good as we had to pay ground rent and a couple of big bills. Thankfully they were saved for in advance but still means I am down £34.53 in June.

Good news is that I have just been given a substantial pay rise and promotion so July's pay cheque will be rather nice!

#25 updating with £375.12 for July. £1070 saved YTD. I'll be needing a big push on reducing outgoings for the rest of the year if I am to achieve my target.

Me and the OH have just opened our first current accounts to start earning some switching bonuses. That should help get closer to the target.

Well done to everybody on here. There are some tremendous savings stories.:T
    Happy Saving:)
You should pay attention to the needs of the moment - otherwise there is no future. But to ignore the future is foolish - living solely for the moment leaves nothing for when the next moment arrives.

    YAY for payday :-)

I have just made my payments to my 10 virgin Regular Savers and the other three are due out tomorrow.

I am declaring for this month £3050.00

One of my regular savers will mature next month, and I cashed in my Leeds Issue 3. I havent included this in the above total as it had already been included in previous updates...

Onwards and upwards we are now over half way, close to Christmas then it was days past from New Years day...

Back on track after an expensive month of decorating and new carpets which gave me negative savings last month. £1100 saved in July and no known big expenses due till next pay day.

Only one more payday till retirement! Who stole the last 30 years?! :D

No. 88 woefully late in declaring for April, May, June and July (sorry, been massively busy!). Any how, better late than never...

    April total - £950
    May total - £950
    June total - £700
    July total - £1,900

Brings me up to £7,000 for the year, just £3,000 left to save before the end of 2017. I've submitted forms for each of the 4 months. Sorry slowlyfading for being so late and creating work for you - thanks for doing this for me and everyone else.

No 56, have been missing for last couple of months. June and July total is £1284.54, new total £5718.43. Will probably reduce my goal next month but it is fab to be saving!

I have updated the spreadsheet SF.
