I am declaring only £500 for June as have made loan to a family member and also put some aside for our holiday, but hope to catch up by the end of August.

No.183 declaring £3500 for June, going for a far less ambitious £2k in July, fingers crossed for stronger than expected month!

    Thanks for the add SF.

Reporting Savings of £1696.47 this month. Quite unexpected as something I'd budgeted for came in £550 under so was able to move that to my savings pot.

    Well done to everyone.

    update form submitted.

Well done to everyone. Half way through the year and we are still saving and motivating each other. My June savings are £1000.56 (form submitted). Happy with this but feel the next few months are going to be harder, what with the sun coming out and holidays coming up. I must stick to the budget.

I've been pretty absent from MSE for the last month but I'm so pleased to come back to so many positive updates :)

A better month for me: £1,325.97 saved in total for June. Sadly this is because the house purchase has stalled - basically nothing useful has happened since the bad valuation last month - but at least it means I'm continuing to save! Here's hoping July brings less saving and more problem resolution :o

Anyway, this puts me at £6,294.83 so far for 2017, which is above the half way line :D
  • Spreadsheet updated :)

    Hi SF, #187 here:wave:
I just checked on the spreadsheet and realized my target had been entered incorrectly. Am going for £25,000 target for the year.

Thanks so much for updating for June!!:T When you get a chance, can you kindly update my progress for the previous months as I only joined in June...so sorry for the extra bother. Form updated for the months below:

    Jan - £1,000
    Feb - £1,731
    Mar - £2,170
    Apr - £2,512

    June - £2,000

Bringing my total to date to £11,413!

Dear Slowly Fading - congratulations on your happy news!

No 44 reporting in with a very pleasing £3,321.32 this month, £500 RS, £250 SS and the rest is my work bonus :) so the good month I was hoping for happened!

So that is £6,600 towards my target of £7,500. Now to pretend it's not there so I can't spend it frivolously!
