#129 declaring £0 for May:(
Bloody. Awful. Month.
Expensive due to anticipated car-related expenses but then we had a power cut and when the power came back on it blew the thermostat in the fridge. As the fridge was in the house when we bought it and it was old, we decided to replace it.
So, this months savings have gone on a fridge.
Mind you, I was ahead on the savings anyway so I bought myself a bit of wiggle room there. I wasn't supposed to hit the half way mark until the end of June and I'm past that.

Happy June everyone
Should of been a good saving month for us, but Center Parc's holiday took bit more money away than anticipated.... also going to Alton Towers on Wednesday so more money gone; but guess you have to live a little. I hope to save a grand this month, will take me to 7k then.
Ill update on week 3.
Keep pushing everyone, best of luck!! Xx"Don't underestimate the value of financial security"

Not sure what is going wrong with my totals - I didn't save £1400 in April, I think that might have been my overall total. The TOTAL AMOUNT SAVED is now £1,800 as of end of May. I am number #132. I will try to make it clearer on my June update. Sorry for any confusion.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hi Everyone!! I have been following this thread for a while whiles saving for the past few months (January - May so far of £9,413). However, I feel I need the extra motivation to save in order to achieve my 12 month target of £26,400 (so June - Dec 2017 to go whoop whoop!!) and the accountability I see on this thread is so motivating. Can you please add me to the challenge? I know we are part way through the year however have an additional target of £16,987 to go!!!
Will update for June at the end of the month as my first month declared!

It's really nice to see everyone's declarations which also gives me encouragement! I managed to save £,1300 for May which brings my total to £4,800/£10,000. I have officially reached my 40k deposit target but now need to save 4k for uni fees
