Brilliant thanks Suffolk Lass - as you can tell I'm a newbie to actually posting despite lurking around the forums for quite a long time...:pSave 12K 2019 #37 - £3,512.97 / £6,000 (July)

Once again, saved £1250 but paid another £1000 off the holiday. So + £250 on the month.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

#28 declaring £450 for May. Don't think I am going to be able to increase on this for the next few months, but as long as I stick to saving that as a basic amount, I am happy.0

No 56 declaring £524.57 for May, a low amount but had two European short breaks! Total now £4433.89.0

Happy to report savings of £1028.83 for April. Back to my normal routine. Really proud of myself as I didn't over spend during my birthday trip to New York.
Well done to everyone. Let's keep up the good work.
Reporting Savings of £1696.47 this month. Quite unexpected as something I'd budgeted for came in £550 under so was able to move that to my savings pot.
Well done to everyone.

May update time. £1145 saved
Not too bad considering May felt like an expensive month with lots of people I really like leaving my work (many drinks!) and flights to Greece booked. June will include the rest of that trip's costs, so we'll see how it goes. A good friend of mine is getting married and I wouldn't miss that party, so it's definitely worth it.
Ideally to hit my target savings rate I want to be putting away £1250 a month, but on the whole I'm pretty pleased. Worked out the other day that I finally have a positive net worth for the first time since I started studying. Small steps.Save 12K in 2018 #20 - £20,890/£18,000 (116%) November £1950

An appalling £382.02 for me this month but I have a good reason: I'm buying a house
Lots of money has gone out for solicitors' costs on account, buyer's protection insurance etc. The lender did the valuation yesterday so keep your fingers crossed for me?
Well done to everyone sticking with it so far - next month we'll be half way through the year!!0 -
Hi all,
I've just declared for April and May as I'm a bit behind.
I'm on £9845.83 for the year to date. This is around 80% of my planned figure, but life just keeps getting in the way.
June and July should be better!
Well done to everyone on their efforts & thanks to SF for keeping the challenge going10lb to lose & keep off in 20204.5lb/10lb:rotfl:0
