I've been slacking on the updates.
April was -£135.44, May was £229.86. YTD = -£80.41. Target YTD = £1800.
My OH has finally finished maternity leave:j. However I had banked on a bonus in May which didn't materialisehence I've fallen behind my savings target for the year by £1800. My 2017 savings goal will shift from £5k to £4k as a result.
It's always inspiring to hear all your savings stories:T. Keep it up.You should pay attention to the needs of the moment - otherwise there is no future. But to ignore the future is foolish - living solely for the moment leaves nothing for when the next moment arrives.0 -
May update - £1035
2017 - £5749
Not bad for a lazy old fart who can't be bothered with overtime.
Now have all the funds for my property purchase + mortgage when the time comes.0 -

Posting my figure for April (a bit delayed!) at £1,755 for No. 59. A ropey start to the year due to a number of expected outlays but now I am happily back on track and looking strong for May too.
Thanks!0 -
Hi folks. No 11 declaring £2000 for May.
Form submitted. Keep up the good work everyone.0 -
I've declared £1112.38 for May. Edging back towards hitting the 50% mark after June after a poor couple of months.
Well done everyone; very easy to slide away when the sun shines and lots of costly outdoors things offer themselves as distractions and temptationsSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

Managed to scrape together a bit more cash this month so number 6 updating my earlier declaration to £1924.69 total for this month . So please ignore my previous declaration for this month slowly fading. I'm finally out of negative digits and paid off the money I had to take out of savings at the start of the year... but this means only 468 saved though. Have to work hard to get to that £7000 by end of the year.Homeowner:j0
