Hello
Never done this before but nothing ventur'd...I'm going to try for £9000.
Thanks.0 -
Please add me. I'll go for £6k again this year. New house and bigger mortgage means it might be more difficult otherwise I'd have tried for a bit more![STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000

I'm in too! Have run the figures, compiled a budget-of-sorts and want to set myself a "stretch" savings target of £5,000. To get there I am going to have to be tough on my weaknesses, the two C's of clothes and coffee.
This excludes pension contributions and mortgage over payments, both of which I have also separately increased...2017 is going to be serious on all money-saving fronts!0 -
Yay! Yes please. £12k is my target.#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET

Please can I join again? I will try for £11,000 in 2017. I don't mind what number I am (I was 92 in 2016 as a very latecomer to the party).
Thanks Slowlyfading - brilliant job, as always!

Please can I join... I'm aiming to save £4500 this year, which will be tight, but hopefully achievable.
Also, can anyone tell me how much I should have in my emergency cash stash? Thank you0
