I'm really excited for this and I'm practicing this month to see how much I can realistically save. So far I'm up to around £1500 but I'm not sure how sustainable that is.

Will anyone else be doing extra to earn more next year, aside from their main income?

Oh, I'm glad I found this thread :j I've previously been paying off debts but now I am into the black and starting to save !!

Hi all, please can I join in. I'm a long time lurker (years) who has been trying to save as much as possible over the last few years, but life does generally get in the way and my end of year result is always disappointing. Hopefully I'll be encouraged to commit more with this thread.
