I don't think £12k is possible for me, but I like the idea of this. I will aim for £6k, even though even that I think I will struggle with. It'll mean £500 per month basically? I will either have to get more frugal or get a raise, but I like a challenge, and just the act of trying should be a learning experience.0

put me down for £4000 please.0

Sign me up for £12k please! Last year's thread was a great motivator for the first half of the year. Let's kickstart 2017 :-DSave £12k in 2017 / Dec 2017 Travel Cash = £12,400 / £14,000 88.5%[/COLOR]
House Deposit = £20,500 / £18,000:money:0 -
I include interest and dividends (only tiny amounts though) in my figures, so I'm sure you could continue if you felt like it ArmyDillo?
I'm still not sure though and if I did, it would completely change the figures I've reported this year.
If I were to declare interest and dividends it would add another £70k on 2016's figures.
Not expecting that next year though unfortunately (for all of us).
Anticipating some level of loss next year but can't quantify it yet.2016 : Realised £103,000.00 savings (banked)
2017 : Realised £97,000.00 savings (banked)
2018 : Realised £ savings (banked)
20.4% avg annual portfolio growth since 2004.
