Hi Guys
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who got lucky with Ernie this month.
The savings prompt has also focused my mind on decluttering - so I'm clearing out, ebaying etc lots of stuff and adding any funds I make to the savings pot. So I've just asked for a refund on a very old oyster card £9 and Amazon sold a book for me £11.22. My totals are up to £344.62.
Good luck everyone0 -

my wife and my aim is ambitious this year at £36000
we want to save £3000 per month for 12 months as we move towards retirement date- this would be a 67% saving rate from our monthly salaries- we managed 57% last yearEarly retired in summer 2018 and loving it0 -
Can I please be added too? We've just purchased a lovely 4 bed family home so savings are looking a little thin.
We are aiming for £8000.
Good Luck Everyone
Considering Christmas has just been and gone...I am hoping to add £2000 into the pot on 25th of this month.0 -

If all goes well I'm in a job until the start of August when I'll probably take a couple of months to do no work whatsoever before looking for another job at that point. So earning over 10 months instead of 12 means it might be harder to hit my target, but I'll set it the same as before at £15,000 since I managed to exceed it last year.
Among all this there is the possibility of buying a house and/or car, so we'll see how that goes.
Good luck all0 -

Slowlyfading will be along in a while and add you to the list in post 1, then you post your money updates using the update link, and she maintains the googledoc of everyone's progress, month by month. She likes you to put your challenger number in your signature (she will allocate it) so she can keep up without being on here all the time.
HTH - Good luck!
