@zippygeorgeandben check out the open source versions of excel available for free.
I use OpenOffice at home. https://www.openoffice.org/
Life isn't about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away. Like choking....2 -
If you go to Office.com and create an account, you can use Excel for free on their web app. It means you can't store it locally and you have to be online, but it might help for now.
Good luck xSome days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

@zippygeorgeandben lovely to hear from you! I found it a combo of fresh start and applying what I'd learned when I reached this point; and that was pre-pandemic! You're doing well. The excel substitute will help. Onwards and upwards Humdinger x0

Hello hello hello everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Special thanks to those of you who stick by me and pop in every now and then, even though this diary is not half as exciting as it once was!
I hope we all had a good Christmas/Holiday period. I need to lose all the holiday weight now (I'm sure if I looked back on previous posts from a year ago, I would have been messaging exactly the same thing!)
Ok so cards on the table - spent some of my savings over the past three months. I accept this decision and I am still writing down what I spend etc so I have that element of control. I love the fact I have my savings with my sister as about £900 came out of that for a lot of December spends, but that's what it is there for right? For those special moments. It will start to build up again.
I do have 2 CCs now (one with £1500 on it and one with £800 on it). These are interest free for around 24 months. I could clear them with what is in my current account in one fell swoop but as they are interest free, I would rather just leave them as they are.
Anyway, I wish you all peace, happiness and love for 2022.

Hi Ben,
Happy New Year to you too. How lovely to hear from you as we enter another year.....I too am wishing the lbs away from the Christmas festivities.
Glad to hear you have the control still there and the funds to pay off the CCs if you want to.
All the very best for 2022 to you too.
