Hello fivegoldstars and sorry you've been flooded with emails. There was a technical blip with the competition yesterday evening and some players were told wrongly they had won a prize. We're looking at what happened and will be in touch with all those affected with more information shortly.

On the Monthly Direct Debit, is everything billed up to date using actual meter readings? If not, please let us have readings and we'll be happy to rebill and review the arrangement.
We base payments on past usage and current prices. A change to either could trigger a request to change the monthly payments. We look to spread payments as evenly as possible over a full 12 months with the aim of achieving as near as possible to a zero balance by the annual review. We try to make sure accounts don't build up too much credit or debit.
Do you know you can take more control over the arrangement through the Direct Debit Manager on our website? Provided you've registered with our website, you can use this tool to change the monthly payments to better suit different circumstances. If the account is billed up to the latest meter readings, payments can be changed by up to 20 per cent up or down. By up to 5 per cent up or down without readings. Before confirming the new amount, we'll let you know by how much we expect the account to be in credit/debit if the payments are changed but usage doesn't alter as expected.

I'd be lying if I said I was anything other than furious.
The original on-site pop up told me I'd won the home cinema system - can you imagine my response? That's right, running round the house telling the family the good news.
Then the emails and a 30 minute call to your call centre, who didn't even know about the promotion. They promised to investigate and call back - I'm still waiting.
Now I'm being told I've won sweet FA, despite having emails to the contrary and 'prizes' in my account. Merry effin Christmas.0 -

Just tried my luck and says I can have two goes tomorrow.The best for me would be E.on to offer me a really good retention deal. This would mean more to me than gimmicks.
Understand where you're coming from Mable. I posted above (#15) that I'm expecting to be able to advise more about tariffs next week. This follows the product review I spoke about in other threads. The review covers both existing and potentially new customers and is still ongoing but I'm hoping to be able to give a bit of an update.

Totally understandable fivegoldstars. I'd suggest waiting until we contact you. At this point, I'm not sure what happened or what we're going to do about it but we'll be in touch once the investigation's over.

I had the same thing - I realise that obviously I hadn't really won every single prize (I got an email for each one saying I had won) however I also had the on screen message saying I had won the home cinema system as the spinning wheel stopped on this so it would be entirely wrong and probably against the competition regulation for this now to be the case? I wonder how many others are in the same boat?0
