I noticed most of the savings came from the standing charge prices

Eon
Gas 31.5p per day
Electric 26.1p per day

Scottish Power
Gas 8.22p per day
Electric 8.22p per day

Why do you have such a high daily standing charge rate ? and how can these prices be so different.

This was on my "to check" list as I don't use a lot of gas/electricity and told myself I need to find a company that has less daily charges. I am in shock at the difference. If figures tie up, guess who's moving asap.
