Totally take this point FOREVER21. I mentioned in another thread along similar lines that we're reviewing all our products and the way we offer them. This is for both existing and potentially new customers. I've been asking for details this morning and hope to be able to give you some more information next week. One thing I can say for definite, we've announced today that there'll be no change to our residential standard prices (Energy Plan) until at least April 2017. I know this isn't too relevant for a lot of MSE users who wouldn't look at standard tariffs but thought it might be of interest.

I've just renewed with E.ON for a fixed 2 Yr term sounds good to me for Piece of mind NO penalties to change at any time :beer:
What tariff is this MoneyMate? We haven't had a 2 year fixed tariff available for sale for over a month. This was the E.ON Energy 2 Year Fixed version 9 tariff. Did you go on to this before it was taken down and maybe backdated the switch date through our online service?Can you not move without penalties within E.ON ?. :beer:
Yes you can. Customers can switch between E.ON tariffs without having to pay an exit fee.

As British Gas has just frozen energy prices on their variable standard rate tariff, i expect E.on will follow suit, sooner or later.

It seems the price freeze was sooner rather than later.
It's good to see the E.on reps being pro active on this forum, and actually listening to customers and potential customers views. Far better than any tick box system.
