  • Welcome redshank, I'm the same thinking I have to do it ALL and get nothing done. Your DD2 sounds like a handful! I have a DS (5yrs) and get the carp! So much Lego, so little bare floor space.

Welcome back jellie, a little a day will make a difference.

Iona, so sorry to hear about your DH, but glad he's improving and college gave you an extension. If you need a further one do ask.

Valli make sure you try to look after yourself too. Best wishes from us.

LW sorry to hear about your flare up, but good news about the lovely pup.

I have forgotten everything else... Mumof2 I sew! Now I have forgotten everything else!

I won't be flying this week. A stomach bug means the only clean places are the loos and basins. Mum and dad and DS have been amazing. Work has told me to stay away until Monday. Still got stomach cramps and dizziness (probably from dehydration), but there's improvement I'm just bored and fed up.

    See you all next week!

Morning all. Hugs to all esp Iona and Valli.

I've got the lurgy here, full of cold with sore throat, mouth and earache. Had a rough night. No flying here today except basics as I need to make a start on the paid stuff soon if I'm to achieve all my targets today. Lacked enthusiasm yesterday and energy and everything took far longer than it should have done.

Should have been going to a village event as well today but I don't want to spread germs. Will probably miss more over the weekend too and I hate to let people down.

    Pinch, punch and all that.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Hope Mr Iona's improving.

Got called again to the hospital; new strategy (me going straight from work) worked well and I got to try out a 'new' M1 junction.

We managed to get her to eat.

She goes to the hospice today:sad:

Glad to know there are a bunch of us who enjoy sewing on here.

(((Hugs))) for Valli, and *healing vibes* for Mr Ionafan.

The house is still in chaos but we're getting closer to working out what we want to do in the kitchen although it seems to take OH quite a while to get used to new ideas, so it's taking longer than I'd like. In the meantime it's looking clean and tidy so that's an improvement.

I must, really must, deal with some frogs today. They're getting me down.

    Pinch, punch etc.
    Better is good enough.

Whenever we stay with our whippet-owning friends, I always leave the bedroom door open so he can sneak in and come for a cuddle....what a naughty house guest I am, teaching their dog bad habits.........not that he needs much teaching.

Rude not to I'd say!! Whippets are so snuggly and completely immune to picking up bad habits .... so Whiz tells me.
