Tuesday ~ Kookie Kitchen and Delectable Dining Room
Level One... Done!
It's a miracle!
Also swept the floor (will mop before bed), cleaned down table and benches and did a partial de-web. All recycling transferred to recycling bin and things that live upstairs returned home.
More laundry folded, all washing up done, loaf of bread proving. Would like to clean the oven at some pont, it's genuinely disgusting
It's nice to have some energy atm(I have Vitamin B12 injections every 12 weeks and the 2-3 weeks before they're due and the week afterwards I'm a bit of a waste of space)
Nearly had a major incident with the toddler who dragged the kitchen bench over to the hob (she likes to 'help'), clambered up and toppled off it dragging down the frying pan I'd just set up to fry some quorn. Thank god the oil hadn't started to heat.:eek: I can't turn my back for a second. She's been halfway down the road before now (that was the day I discovered she'd worked out how to open the front door)Newbie doing the best I can:A

Morning all
Sorry I'm not in much but paid stuff seems to be turning into full time at the mo. I'm not complaining as I love my job. But it just feels like I've not got as much flying time and not keeping up in here.
Hugs to Valli Iona and anyone else who needs them

Morning! Woke up at 5:30 and put the WM on as I knew I had loads to get through before I go out this morning. 2nd load almost finished, then TD's turn!
Out all day so bit of a quick blitz of the basics before I go (WM unloaded loaded etc) - will see how much I get done. Hugs to Valli.0 -
Morning all,
I feel like the housework has descended into chaos. I need to take a leaf out of HB's book and do some serious decluttering. Everything is messy and awful.
List
Brown bin out
Dog food
Extra school uniform
Strip our bed
Tidy floors all through
Hoover everywhere
HHI
Dw
Wm
Leaf sweeping again. 15 mins front and back
Clean front door
Kitchen worktops and table
Dog nose art
Walk/run dog
That's enough for today, as I'm reading in school at 2.00pm.
Have a good day all x0 -
Morning All,
Feeling brighter today than I have for ages
Achieved loads this morning already. School and pre-school run done (and accompanying book bags and packed lunches organised), WM on, DW unloaded, TD on, log delivery sorted out, toys donated to local charity, two toy bikes put out on the road with a "free" sign (too small for my two now), a big bag of rubbish cleaned out of the back garden (the garden clearing was pre 7am too :A).
I am now doing some work for DH, then I will go and make the beds. Dinner has been christened as burgers and HM chips. Once I have made the beds I will clean the fire ready for tonight, then I really really must get the Christmas decorations down.
Big huge squishy hugs to all of you, have a lovely day and please stay warm xxMFW

Morning all.

Thanks everyone for hugs and good wishes. DH is improving slowly. He is still very weak and on all the monitors, oxygen and IV lines, but at the moment things seem to be going OK. Monday night was bad, but he had a better night last night and was sitting out of bed this morning when I rang earlier - it's easier for him to breathe when he's in a chair. There is still some concern about the effect of the pneumonia on his heart, but we will learn more in time.
I am fine - I even went to college yesterday evening because DH wanted me to and because someone else had offered to visit him in my place. Given the circumstances, our tutor has kindly offered me a 2-week extension on my assignment deadline.
Have flown a little bit this morning and am just aiming to keep on top of things. It is amazing how little washing / washing up / tidying there is to do when there's only me in the house
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round as needed, especially to Valli and your sis x0 -
Iona - I am so pleased your DH is improving, I have been thinking of you. And how lovely that your tutor offered you an extension on your essay xx
Since my last message the bikes from the pavement have been taken, and I have gutted the airing cupboard. All contents tipped on the landing, and nothing but the things we actually need have been put back. The local charity shop will be getting a huge bagful from me later!
Just rang DH and asked if he can put up a curtain pole when he gets home (we will be out when he gets back). Cue a huge sigh from him, followed by "can't it wait til the weekend?". Um no, because my mum is coming to hang the curtains tomorrow. It'll take him all of ten minutes.... men  xMFW
