You are such a star: what strength of character eh? And you got your just reward on the compliment. That should spur you on.

I was pretty chuffed with myself tonight. Returned from OH rellies 80th birthday party (only succomed to a few sarnies, 2 cheese and pineapples and 2 cocktail sausages) and really didn't feel like cooking dinner. Fish and chips were calling soooo bad. But no, I did a proper, green day dinner when I got in :A

But I have definitely been out chuffed I think grannynise. Welldone :T

Oh why did I buy him the barbecue ones - I should have bought the cheese and onion - I don't like them.quote]

Hope you survived this Anic!! Live and learn: only buy the one's you don't like next time. I make my OH puddings and cakes I don't like so he gets a treat, I can enjoy baking, but absolutely no temptation :A

Funny how this one keeps getting quoted isn't it...!? The odd thing is, I find it mesmerising - I keep watching and waiting for the 'wardrobe failure' - :D:D

    Morning all :hello:

I didn't even think when I bought the pringles, I just bought the usual ones but I will definately remember for next time.

Well last night's charity do went well but it was probably my first blow out since I started the diet.

I had good intentions - taking along my vegetable crudites and dips but I did end up pinching the odd cocktail sausage and chicken satay stick and my friend's measures were a bit more than I bargained for. Oh - and I never ate any of the pringles - notion wore off totally!!!

Hopefully I will have burned off some of the excess calories with the dancing and as we didn't get in till really late I felt sorry for my son having to get up early for his paper round so I did that for him. The 45 minute walk with the blooming heavy bag of papers on my back must be good for me.

Anyway, I enjoyed myself and it's back to day 1 today.

  • Hi everyone,

Hope you're having a great weekend. I've been keeping up with the posts but not much to report. I've fallen off the wagon in the past couple of days. TBH I've been more focused on getting next Saturday over and done with, and starting afresh on Monday. I was thinking of giving the WW core plan a go... has anyone out there ever tried it?

Anyway, hope you are all enjoying your weekend - it looks like it by the lack of posts today.

    Day one again tomorrow. (sigh).
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.
  • Hi everyone!!

    Another quick check-in here :)

Dropping my son off at Uni yesterday wasn't as bad as I thought, but I don't think its quite sunk in yet. We are having a mad day here today moving bedrooms around and decorating.

I'm not getting weighed til Weds night this week as I can't make my usual weigh-in on Monday.. will I be too late to get on the chart for this week?

Hope you are all okay and having a good weekend!

    xx
