:hello:Hi Everyone. How can I find out how many weightwatchers points I'm allowed and what is free food etc, without joining. I know its on here somewhere but I've been trawling through back posts and I can't find it. At the moment I'm being really good for a few days and then blowing it completely, I thought I'd try Victory's idea. If I just did the weightwatchers meals etc on the days I'm finding it difficult so I don't have to think about what I can and can't have.
Hope everyone's well. Have a good weekend.

    Free foods are veg,coffee,capers,chilli,herbs abd spices,curry powder,oil free or fat free salad dressings,sugar free jelly,fresh stock,garlic,ginger,lemon,lime,lettuce,mange-tout,mint sauce,mushrooms,mustards,okra,orange zest,onions,passata,peppers,pimentos,pumpkin,radish,rhubarb,rice wine vinegar,rocket,runner beans,salt,sauerkraut,shallots,soda water,soy sauce,spinach,stock cubes,tea,vanilla essence,vinegar,yeast extract,worchestershire sauce...

Raphael, it's all down to the day-to-day fluctuations. It can and does happen. It's a good reason for weighing yourself once a week, maximum. ;)

    help

We're going to a charity do tonight that is a bring your own bottle and snacks.

I was intending to be good - I've cut up carrots and peppers and have relatively low fat dips and bits of chicken but OH has just opened the barbecue pringles. They are shouting to me "eat me", "eat me". I can smell them.

Oh why did I buy him the barbecue ones - I should have bought the cheese and onion - I don't like them.

Need to find something to do - to take my mind off of them

Edit : I know - I'll go and brush my teeth - mint and barbecue won't taste good together!!!

I need to tell you that I was SO good on Friday and today that I should lose all my excess weight in ONE GO.

On Friday we had a Macmillan coffee morning at school and I cut cakes, served cakes, said cakes were delicious, talked about the recipes and didn't eat one crumb.

Today was my DGD's 2nd birthday party. I served food, made sandwiches, passed around danish pastries to the adults and all I ate were a few grapes. I threw away the leftovers :( or gave them ot other people. Not one bit of party food has come home with me.

I am so excessivley pleased with myself that I am unbearable. I am also hungry.

    Love from Grannynise

ps But I am going to have a massive (relatively) fillet steak for dinner with loads of butternut squash and any other vegetables lurking in the fridge.

Forgot to say that two excellent things happened at the coffee morning (other than raising money for Macmillan of course). I won a prize in the raffle ....... wait for it ......... it was so good ......... a squeegee. (Well it is turquoise, so that's nice)

And the really good thing .... someone commented that I'd clearly lost weight. That's the first time anyone has noticed and I was Mrs Chuffed of Chuffland.:o :o
  • Its a great feeling when that happens isnt it? And itll be the first of many ;)
  • Thanks Victory
