    Hi Everyone,
Here's this week's chart. Well done to efrieze, notanothergreyhair and pokey128 joint SOTW
    ...
Efrieze would you mind taking over for the next 3 weeks for me? PM me your e-mail address please and I'll email the chart & instructions.

So happy to accept my joint crown (with notanothergreyhair and pokey128 (yes you deserve it even with a scales change)). I am also happy to do the chart for the next 3 weeks too. Always glad to do my bit....
  • Could I make suggestion too? The new monthly challenge for October starts next WEdnesday (3rd October). Rather than asking everyone who wishes to join and adding their names to list which get a little confused, can we just assume that everyone who was doing the September challenge wishes to roll into the October one, unless you post or PM otherwise? Obviously newbies will join as and when in addition? Does that sound ok to all?

    Sounds peachy!!

Well I didn't have my smoked haddock tonight, I ended up doing an extra hour at work so couldn't be bothered with all the chopping etc for the salad. I had a couple of small baked potatos drowned in baked beans. Scrummy!
    I'll have my haddock tomorrow.

  • Hello Peeps :hello:

Firstly...Well done to efrieze, notanothergreyhair and pokey128 as joint S'OTW:j :j and well done to everyone else who lost, some great achievements; and to those who struggled somewhat but didn't give up - that's the spirit, giving up would be too easy and we aren't cissies here are we peeps? :D ...

...ajax I hope Bailey enjoys the weekend away with you and MrsA, but I can't help but wonder why you're going on the wagon for 16 days  why so specific? I'm not being nosey, just curious. I hope everything is okay with you, but to chivvy you along a bit I found this easy alcohol calorie calculator so you'll be able to see how many calories you'll save - I've just calculated what I used to drink in a week before I started my diet and   no wonder I was a porky bird :rotfl: mind you I used to glug the stuff big time :o ...

...To our poorly peeps - Victory not-tagged-smiley-14571.gifI hope your ear problem is getting better, and - Bbelle You sound quite poorly and I hope that you're feeling a tad better today too. I hope it's not contagious but just to be certain I'll just blow you a kiss ;) ...

Thanks for doing the chart delly and efrieze:j

Well done to all the loosers, excellent;)

Does anyone know where I can buy smoked trout from? I went to the usual supermarkets yesterday and they all looked at me strangely:rotfl: :rotfl: I need it for a cook yourself thin recipe and have none:rotfl:

Tried those frusi frozen desserts last night but they have 16% worth of sugar ofthem which is huge for me so will not have them again, I only had a spoonful and H had the rest but he loved it, said it was refreshing.

The tikka masala was a huge success last night and my kids are doing lots of begging for another choc beetroot cake but that won't happen, 250g of light muscovado sugar is excessive;)
Went on a quest yesterday to buy other crackers as I love ryvita but there must be some others:rolleyes: so bought FINN CRISP original rye 40 calories each, Rakusens's 99% fat free crackers 18 calories each and Hovis extra wheatgerm cracker 27 calories each, the rye and hovis are lovely the crackers are so thin they snap just by looking at them and are very dry so 2 out of 3 is not bad, would recommend them especially the hovis ones;)
I think I will be making WW time to eat lasagna this evening without the cheese as that increases the calorific value a lot and I am not bothered abut cheese...

Yes thank you petrichor The ear is improving, quicker if I only remembered to take the medication!!

oh he will, he doesn't seem to feel the cold, that lad. On the other hand, myself and MrsA are feeling the need to go shopping on Saturday for thermals, balaclavas, gloves and the like. I's blinking cold!

...... lol it's nothing other than when I wrote that it was 16 days to the day we leave for the weekend. Now it's 15 :)
  • Victory This is the recipe that I used for the chocolate and beetroot cake it uses less sugar, hope this helps :j Also, to still get the cheesey taste for a lasgne, I sometimes use a packet of cheese sauce mix for the top layer (made up with skimmed milk) or I use low fat fromage frais into which, you can beat an egg, this isn't quite as cheesey tasting but cooks into a nice looking topping.

Hi Beanie - we started the challenge at the end of August - the 29th - and it ends next Wednesday, the 3rd of October, so that probably means you've done better than you think! :D
