    ( :D )very quickly.
Well done on the alcohol front. I'm teetotal myself but it does seem to be many folks downfall as it both piles on the pounds in its own right and leaves to some not so good food choices. A friend of my gave up 6 weeks ago and discovered her low level depression and disatisfaction with her marriage have completely lifted. She has now decided not to touch it again. That doesn't mean to sound like I think all alcohol is bad! Not at all. Everything in moderation (and sometimes not so moderate is ok too :D ), it's just sounds like a good thing to sometime give it break to see what changes.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Suggs I have the same problem. Bought a skirt in Tesco and it's a little too big. Now if I was planning to stay the same weight, I'd keep it... but I have more to lose.

So may have to buy the smaller size... but it may be snug.

Such a dilemma but a good one!!! :D

....... aye, just got be a Bachelors Pasta and sauce in the microwave along with a huge onion, two peppers and some Quorn 'meat'balls. Gotta love SW :)

As regards the suit, it all depends which way you want to go.... up or down. Do you want to put on weight so the bigger one's more comfortable? No, thought not ;)

Your right a great dilemma to have and I still smile when I realise I dont have to shop in the 'specialist' shop anymore.

Actually I use a great store in Birmingham, normal Menswear shop, but with a 'fat bloke' section, I went in there on Monday as I was on the way home and the selection of suits was quite disappointing, nor did they have the t-shirts I like :(

    Shame

So, did you not buy the skirt? I find Tesco come up a tad small anyways :)

I bought it - in the size I thought I should be back into by now. But it's too big (can pull it down with out undoing the zip - which could be interesting... ). But haven't worn it as I think I need to change it for the smaller size (but worried that will be too small) ;)

Birmingham - talking of Slaters? Excellent mens shop ;)

For your OH I hope, I'm not saying anything ;) I did buy a pair of trousers from Tesco early in the summer that were very snug, with the intention of slimming into them, which I do now :)

If its snug, why not buy it, hang it up to encourage you to lose that little bit more ?? :T

Thats the one, been using it for years, more than I care to remeber. Normally I go 2 or 3 times a year and stock up. But Mondays visit was a disappointment, would have preferred to give them the business.

Take it your a midlands girl then?

Hi, I'm back from my holiday in sunny Scotland. I have been waited on all week and have eaten all sorts of things I would never usually touch. I have to report a maintain for me this week but now I am back home and on the 'straight and narrow' all should be well for next weeks weigh in (I hope). The travelling has caused a fibromyalgia flair up so I am not so inclined to exercise but I will try to take the dogs out for a run. They run, not me!

I should also report that I have had to borrow my son's belt to keep my trousers up!
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

So did I until she posted this ...

    ...
Morning all - reporting after the excesses of the last week and WI last night - I got on the scales and nearly fell off them, have lost 1.5 lb...

I mean  where is the justice in this world? So JM have this from me 11wfqbl.jpg...:rotfl: ...

...katiepc Actually I saw Heroes when it was on one of the other channels earlier in the year (Sci-Fi I think) but don't worry, my lips are sealed;) ...

...Just let me wash my hands before I speak to Bb... okay here we go...
..... only got 6lbs to go until I'm technically not medically overweight and have a BMI of 25. My parents are already saying are you going to stop now: They can't quite get it that I'm eating buckets of healthy food on SW, why would I stop eating so well? I get my occasional treats and meals out. This is a positive way of eating for life as far as I am concerned and I'll stop losing weight when my body reaches it's natural balance with my level of activity. I think I've been overweight for so long that they can't imagine me any 'thinner' than I have now reached after 1.5 stone loss. But I'm still a size 16 (and I'm 5ft 6') so at least a stone to go as far as I'm concerned....

I think that you've summed up the whole meaning of successful slimming :Tand I'm sure your parents will be pleased to see a slimmer, healthier you. A BMI of 25 was far too high for me too, and to wait until you reach your natural balance is spot on IMO :D I hope that it also helps with your health problems...

    xxxx

ps JM ^^^only joking ol' chum...Well done :j
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
