Sorry...didn't mean to say the psychology isn't a real science...just not one involving test tubes....
..... hehe. What magazine you talking about then? Don't leave us hanging
Zest magazine.
Its not got a bit of everything. The other girly mags cheese me off somewhat as it's all celeb gossip which I don't really care about and I managed to get a mega cheap subscription a few years back0 -

.. ah right.
And speaking as a glorified test-tube carrier, give me the 'un'real science of psychology anyday. Test tubes pay the bills but minds are real.0 -
ajaxgeezer, that wasn't patronising at all. I know that my OH will lose his weight quickly - I have a LOT further down the road to go anyway but to be fair he is very supportive so I don't mind.
I'm moving out of my parents house and when I go home from SW and tell her I've lost 2lbs she says 'is that all?' Thats not helpful for me! so I'll just be glad that even when I put on I'll get a hug and he'll sit down with me and go through meal plans. :j0 -

"Just" two pounds is on the slightly fast side of a healthy average loss. Tell your mum it's unhealthy to consistently lose more than that.0 -

He is a keeper! The first time I've known this! Very exciting!:happyhear
My mum won't listen to the fact that healthy loss is 1-2lbs a week. She just thinks I shouldn't have got fat in the first place!

That's how mum sees it. She nagged me into going back to SW but doesn't want me to eat the food that goes with it - she just says 'her food won't make you fat'. Fair enough, but she knows SW worked for me last time (lost 3.5stone) and just can't let me get on with it0

Hmm if you are still at home then wasn't it her food in the first place that made you put on weight?Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Wooohoooooo:j Another 2lb loss this week for me (although I fell off the wagon again on Friday evening - I went out for a mexican with hubby:o ). So total loss = 4lbs and another 10 to go....
I bought this dress (I'm in love :blushing:) on Saturday for a special occassion and it fits me (but not comfortably!) now but I can't wait till I'm 10lbs lighter- it will be perfect! It's definitely my motivation!!!0
