  I'm really fed up. Last week I spent all week pulling up my size 18 jeans cos they kept falling down. Thought great must be doing something right. Well I just decided to try on my size 16 Jeans (both pairs) they don't even meet in the middle by about 3 inchs. They must be sized wrong!!!
plus I'm really bored, I decided that as it was half term and playschool & the other groups I take Maddison to are shut I would try potty training. As a result I'm stuck at home with cbeebies blearing in my ears and I've lost my voice from constantly asking if she needs a wee! All the other mums had it easy with their kids & potty training mine has decided to do it in her knickers then stands still and crys screaming at me that her trousers are wet. Think its because she likes choosing which pair of knickers she wants to wear & if she keeps wetting herself the more knickers she can wear. Need to go into town but that will mean putting her back in a nappy cos I can't be doing with her weeing in her pushchair perhaps I'll give up with it and try again another time when she's more ready!! She keeps telling me though that she's a big girl and wants to wear her knickers and use the potty. :wall:
Sorry about the wingeing.. must go out before I go nuts its such a nice sunny day to go for a walk might feed the ducks while I'm out. If I give it to the ducks I can't eat it myself..
Hullo,
I have no knowledge of potty training but if she likes choosing her knickers have you got a pair she hates...then you could explain that she has to keep her knickers dry or she wears the ugly ones....don't know how far explanations go with little children though :rotfl:0 -

Emmalis, sounds like you and I are having the same sort of day!!
Missyg, the book's called Facing Up. Yes, was learning to climb - thought I just wasn't very strong til I found out about my illness, doh! I love the outdoors and feel happiest at the top of some mountain... Was in the process of becoming a mountain leader and used to lead expeditions around the world, last one was to the Himalayas...definitely go one day, it's awesome!
I've just been told I've won a holiday for four!!?!I'm treating it with scepticism but apparently I just have to pay £29.50 pp and they pay for all the flights and s/c accommodation in a choice of 4 destinations. Of course it's a time share company but I've checked I don't need to buy or sign anything. They're putting us up in a hotel in the New Forest for a night to collect our tickets (and be bombarded for a couple of hours about time share). What do we think people, should we go? Don't worry I don't have any money to get roped into time share!!
Thanks Delly! Couldn't get it to play, will have another go later, but made me laugh! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Hi all the walk worked I feel better now :cheesy:.
Oh went into boots while i was in town.. apparently my mum's scales were right at the weekend I have lost 3lb this week :j thats 11lb altogether!!!! Which means that I have lost all the weight that I've put on over the last 6 months or so & I'm now 1lb lighter than my normal weight :j   .
On the down side while I was out my hubby came home to get a coffee & some cd's for his new works van & has made a mess everywhere. I guess he thinks I have nothing better to do all day than clear up after him even my 2 year old is tidier. Just think of the extra weight I can lose by doing it while the kettles boiling for a nice cuppa coffee!!!Life is like a box of chocs ..... i've got a soft centre but I ate the whole box.

...Thanks for the South Park link :rotfl: :rotfl: I've heard that song so many times, but it's the first time that I've seen the footage :T :T ...
...Well done emmalis :j :j I'm glad that you're feeling a bit better. Re the potty training, don't worry and stress about it, it'll come right. When I was going through it all with DD I was convinced that she would be the only child to start school wearing nappies, but she didn't like the potty and wouldn't use it (little piles next to it on the carpet:rotfl: ). She wanted to be 'a big girl' and use the normal toilet, so we used to hold her on it, I think you can get special seats for this now, but I'm not sure. It's a lot harder to house train a husband :rotfl: :rotfl: ...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Ah, the power of lists. Well done: a herculean effort.
Well I've just come back from my weigh in...2.5lbs
off this week. Very happy with this. 3lbs to go til I hit a bmi of 25 :T . Based on current speed of loss, I expect to hit this in about 5 weeks time.

emmails: i wouldnt stress to much easy to say i know my son didnt get the hang of it at all so we waited a couple of months and tried again and he was dry all day and night within a week. DD on the other hand was much easier, as for going out we just put a carrier bag on the pushchair and a towel on top of that and only had a few accidents. Just follow your gut reaction though my mil was forever telling my ds was ready to be in pants and i wish now i had followed my instincts and not bothered the first time round. good luck.
all jeans are stupidly sized in my opinion, have only 1 pair that actually fit right and although i am looking forward to them being too big am dreading having to find a new pair!0
