I am not on the weight chart.
I was sure I was on last week and I wanted to check how much I had lost as I am only 1lb away from 12 stone. Please can I be put back on?I was only away whilst I went to my dad's funeral and sorted things out and then I got mumps (I thought I had and absess!):sad::sad:but I have still tried to weigh in every week. I am sorry if I missed a week but I thought I was going to still be in. I need the chart because I can't remember what I weighed last week to say if I have lost two or three pounds as my brain is not really functioning. Or if I am not in because I missed a week or maybe two please can I be put back on.
Funerals and mumps are not the most pleasant ways to lose weight but it seems to be working.
Also, have you changed the weigh in day? I usually put my weight in on Wednesday, and I asked before about what the boxes were. did I miss something there too? I haven't read all the last few days mail yet. I think I maintained last week and the week before but can't really remember.
Maybe I am wrong because I was looking at the one on the first post but still don't know why I wasn't on that one. I just seemed to have disappeared.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Just back from my second trip to the gym! I last went on Saturday and felt great afterwards. Sunday and Monday I needed crampons to get up the stairs- my thighs were so "achy"!! Worked yesterday so couldnt go but plunged back in today. I Managed most of my "programme" but cut the cycling bit in half as i hadnt the leg energy to continue.Funnily enough, the step machine which i dreaded going on today was fine.
I am sure i will suffer a bit tomorrow but - no pain no gain as they say!
I must add that i didnt feel quite so self conscious today. Mind you, the gym was pretty deserted!
Diet wise ( hate that word!) I am trying to maintain healthy eating,so that it is sustainable in the future. Having lost 2 stone it now seems to be a very slow loss. Maybe the gym will help - i hope so! - I have another stone to lose.
Anyone else in the same boat as me?0 -
poohbear - weigh in day is still a wednesday. You were on last week's chart. If you want to see it, go back to page 59 on this thread.
As for totals and stuff, send efrieze a pm and she'll let you know what figures she has for you. Unfortunately, I need Suggs to amend the link on the first page to re-direct to the current chart.

Sorry poohbear you're sounding a bit neglected...You haven't been ignored consciously...this thread moves so so fast its hard to keep track of things...
The swap boxes were KPC's idea. a while back those participating were given the address of one other forumite with the instruction to send them a present aka swap box...the budget limit was set at £7.50. we have posted them off around this week which is why they are getting so much thread time...very exciting!
so sorry to here about the mumps and funerals...at least when you come out the other side you will be a mump-free slim person!0 -
Well done perfect10 :j and at this rate you soon will be
...
...Well done Bails :j stay positive...
...ajax Well done on the maintain :j Isn't it strange how at one time you got on so well with SW, yet now, but if WW suits you then I'd say go for it. Can any of the meal plans work for both systems (I'm sorry I don't have much idea about SW)?...
...Oh poohbear have one of theseyou really have had a bummer of a few weeks, poor you. Don't worry I'm sure it was just an oversight on the chart, and efrieze'll soon rectify it for you. The swap boxes were an idea of katiepoppycat, those that wanted to take part gave katie their names and everyone was given someone elses name to swap with, you have to buy something to the value of £7.50 and send it to the other person to reach them by 31st October when everyone who is taking part opens their box :j. It perhaps was all started when you were occupied on family matters, but don't worry, it may happen again as everyone seems to have enjoyed doing it (after the initial worries:o ) so you'll be able to take part :j :j Good luck with your weigh in, and I hope thngs start to brighten up for you

xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

oooh Poohbear...just thought of something...do you know how to update your sig? I used to and haven't the time to find the instructions just yet (I'll try and remember later)...then every weigh day you could update it to the total pounds lost which should help you remember...
Righteo...got to spend a few hours down in the basement of our building...lots of fluorescent light...zero sunshine....lovely :cool:0 -
Poohbear, sorry you couldn't find yourself, Delly has sorted you out on that one now. You haven't disappeared, although it sounds as if a little of you might have
As for the boxes, it was an idea that came up a while ago (sometime in Sept I think) about doing a present swop - KPC gave each person who was interested a name to choose a present for. The boxes are being opened on 31st. Sorry you missed out this time but most people are enjoying it so maybe we can do another one soon?
Wilroda, I hate the diet word too as it has too many negative connotations so I say 'food wise' instead. Well done on going to the gym and being sensible enough to adapt your programme to how you were feeling. A bath tonight might help your legs (don't worry, not an ice one!). If you don't see a loss straight away just remind yourself that muscle weighs more than fat - even when I was doing the marathons, I didn't lose loads of weight but my body shape was very different. IMHO, I think it's important to look at the overall picture - how you look, what your clothes feel like, how you feel - rather than concentrate solely on your weight.
Delly, have you found something to amuse you yet? I've been occupying myself with my menu planning, got a sneaky feeling you've done yours already though?
Ajax, if you feel WW works better for you then go for it - hope it won't make mealtimes too much of a nightmare? (don't know too much about the differences btwn the plans). Thanks for the PMs, much appreciated x
Here's my menu/activity plan (sorry in advance for the v long post!, I'll leave out breakfasts and snacks):
Wed - pumpkin soup Dog walking
Chilli with salad
Thurs - leek and potato soup Swim
turkey burger with ? any ideas?
Fri - Avocado potato salad (didnt happen this week) Relaxation class
Cauliflower dahl, b.b rice and steamed veg
Sat - pumpkin soup Long walk
sausage and mash (maybe sweet potato although might treat myself to normal mash!)
Sun - eggs and rye bread
roast (chicken for me) and roast veg
Mon - soup Relaxation class
Asparagus and flageolet bean risotto
Tues - boiled egg swim
Chickpea curry
Keeping it simple this week so it's manageable. Sunday we have a lie-in planned so you never know, might get my heart racing then too...:D [sorry, Ajax made me say it!!:rotfl:]
Without wishing to sound like a self-help book, found the menu planning very empowering :Tso thankyou for encouraging me to do it! Off to walk some cute doggies now :jxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

......pet/bails it's nothing at all to do with SW, it's me. I just can't keep the interest level up on it because it's humdrum now. Doing something different (WW for me) makes it easier to focus, it makes you remember why you are eating that way. Having done SW for 2 years it's "yeah, whatever, pass me the Merlot while the Stella chills". I just don't have the self-discipline that a lot of the rest of you guys have, and need that focus.0 -
Hello peeps - just wanted to put a wuick line on to say my box is being posted today, yay!! However, being very MSE about it all I'm using work postage
so its going 2nd class so don't fret if it doesn't arrive till early next week it should still be there in time!!
Congrats to all the losers, big hugs to those that need them will be back on to post tomorrow after the horror that is going to be WI tonight!!!! (I've been a very bad girl......................!!)
