Victory: you made me laugh with your two kids Xmas wish list.:T
Bails: Oh BB, you're good, really good! I wondered why I was munching on a Wispa We aim to please (but not be a people pleaser :rotfl: )
Petrichor: ( I hope Brightonbelle's still in the holiday-free corner with me) Oh yes, petrichor, still very much here and not there:rolleyes:
I thought of you yesterday Lois, as I was in town again on a Sunny Saturday an I thought you hadn’t been around much recently. Sorry about the middy:grouphug: . That is demoralising re the gym. You are doing well to keep going: you are still getting fitter which is a gift to your heart and health and more toned so in a month or two your clothes will fit you better even if it isn’t obviously reflecting on the scales.
No feather has arrived for me. Perhaps I had better visit the local bird sanctuary today?
Bails, you explain the theory beautifully. And as you say, for some it will have a resonance, it which case work with it, and for others it won’t, so no need to worry about it.
I’m a mega list person myself: I find I need to be organised so I don’t deplete my unreliable energy levels further by rushing round frantically because I’ve left everything to the last minute. It’s why I also menu plan 2 weeks in advance. Carrying stuff in my head is too stressful. And ooh the thrill of crossing something off my list (note to self, must get out more:rotfl: )
Swap box posted: also have no qualms about putting name in. Thanks KPC, I've found this a lot of fun and am still tiggering over my unopened one I received on Thursday.
Just put a new recipe in the slow cooker: a sweet potato, aubergine and colliflower curry. Will let you know if it is any good.
Bails, you asked yesterday about a syn free breakfast yesterday: this is difficult to answer for you as ‘syn free’ is a SW concept and you are not doing SW. A syn free full English would be eggs, bacon, toast, baked beans, mushrooms and tomatoes, scrambled, dry fried and grilled respectively. On a SW green day, the bacon must be 85g worth(fat trimmed off) which makes it a healthy extra b and the toast 57g, ditto. On a red day, it’s the baked beans that need to be measured (142g I think) and the toast remains a HEb. Non of that make any sense to you I’m sure. This is what I had yesterday and it lasted me all day til 6pm. I have this most weekends and have successfully lost weight: that’s why I love SW
As for making mistakes with your kids: it’s ok, you’ll be really aware of these issues and won’t pass them on. It’s all the other things you’re not aware of you better start a kids therapy fund for…(like Victory and her four wheeled trolley)
A bit worn out today. Had a serious 'big and heavy' talk with OH this morning which was needed and we're fine but I don't half feel wrung out.
bbI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Oh gosh am I the only person who has not posted my swap box off yet?

beanielou and bb - I'm not sure why you haven't had a feather yet. Unless you forgot to ask for one?
Well, here's one in the meantime until your Angel can rustle one up for you.

Oh my goodness, me too!! My head feels like it'll explode if I don't get it all down on paper - my dad thinks my huge lists are crazy but it stops my head hurting so much. I too LOVE crossing things off of it:o but never seem to be able to do everything before more comes along (or one job leads to five more usually!)
Thanks for syn free brekky info - I have a vague clue about SW as my mum does it, just wondered if there was anything magical about it I wasn't aware of. I can have that on my plan, no need to weigh anything but prob swop the bread for rye.

Classic!:rotfl:I've got a whole bunch of them stored up I'm sure!!

Glad things are fine BB, these things just need doing sometimes eh? Can totally relate, I've been feeling mangled all week! Just to cheer you up, I read today that Brighton is the No.1 place to live for quality of life :T I'd think about moving down but the MiL would like us to have adjoining houses (seriously!)
Been trying to get myself set up for matched betting this afternoon - I'm pretty sure I get what I'm doing, but trying to get the free bets is proving a pain in the a***(no idea why)!
Apart from that, OH and I are fully back on track, I don't have to spend Christmas with The Dementor and I have some lovely yellow freesias on my desk - life's pretty good! Now if I can just sort my eating...:D

Hi everyone, thought I'd introduce myself here as I have been losing weight since May with diet & exercise.
I'm 2lb or so off my goal where I have been stuck for the past month! Think things are on the move again now though. Today out shopping I fit into size 8 trousers for the first time in my adult life! (Bhs sizes - probably more like a 10 everywhere else, hehe).
Anyway, weight loss stuff is a really big part of my life at the moment so I'd love to have others to chat to about it. Congrats to everyone here who has been losing too.0 -

Hi Bails & Beanielou thank you for the welcome. I can see lots of you already seem to know each other well
I weigh on Mondays and I'm hoping for 1lb off tomorrow, but we'll see!
I'm not on a formal plan, but I basically count calories, stick to 3 meals a day with no snacking, and make sure those meals are balanced and healthy. One of the most motivating things I've found has been keeping a strict food diary.
With exercise I've been trying different things, but for the past two weeks I've been doing at least 30mins per day. When (not if!) I reach my goal, I want to carry on toning up and obviously making sure I don't gain the weight back again.
Look forward to talking to you0 -
