I have a growing feeling that Britain will NOT leave the EU

I also agree that we'll end up either in the single market or a long term transitional deal. I am not so sure about the customs union, as that's the point at which you go off and make deals with other countries.
There's another issue though. That's the speed at which other events are overtaking us. We now have a Trump presidency, which seemed near impossible for much of the last year, as well as forthcoming elections in France, Italy, Germany and political uncertainty in Spain. These are the cornerstone countries of the EU. If Malta, Sweden or Cyprus left, it would make very little difference. If two of the big five leave, that's a very difficult set of circumstances, particularly if one is the first Eurozone participant to pull out.
Netherlands has elections next year as well. Growing anti EU sentiment there too.
If the UK leaves without a satisfactory trade deal. Then Eire could find itself in difficulty. Resulting in a rethink of it's own relationship within the EU. Current tax row with Brussels isn't helping matters either.0 -
He might well have had one I don't expect he expected to loss his job.
Ahh so we're down to "mights" now. In that case show me a lie from the other side that was cast in stone, show me where they promised, not 'coulds', "mights" or "maybes"..."I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers."0 -

So was the promise of £350m a week for the NHS valid and fair, on a barefaced lie to keep the little Englanders happy?
the biggest lie was Cameron said if we voted leave he will go the next day to Brussels and trigger article 50.
What did he do again?“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”

Sorry but what about the stupid stupid advert of bremain GP appointment vs Brexit GP appointment?
Sorry but you can't seriously think we can't interpret it like that.0 -
I'm expecting an almighty Brexit fudge by British politicians and that after a second referendum the UK will not leave the EU. If Merkel and co are wise they'll cough up more concessions on the core British issues and end the threat of Brexit for a generation.
They listen to you when you vote to leave.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

What did he do again?
Did he?
Or did he say
"If the British people vote to leave, there is only one way to bring that about, namely to trigger Article 50 of the treaties and begin the process of exit, and the British people would rightly expect that to start straight away."Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0
